영문 초록

Various preload methods, such as fixed position preload, constant pressure preload, convertible preload and variable preload methods, have been used to the bearings of machine tools. The variable preload method is a method that varies the preload for obtaining variable preloads according to the rotation speed of the spindle and processing condition. This study performed a review on the variable preload devices. And it has been introduced new conceptual variable preload devices. In a sense of the spindle designer, research on the various structures and development directions of each device needs to be carried out.
