국문 초록

목적 본 연구의 목적은 중학교 미술과 수업에서 학생 주도성 함양을 위해 IB MYP 예술 목표에 기반한 체계적인 학습 구조를 반영한 미디어아트 교수·학습 접근 방법을 제시하는 데 있다. 방법 이를 위해 IB MYP 예술 목표와 2022 개정 중학교 미술과 교육과정을 분석하여 학생 주도성 기반의 교수·학습 접근 방법의 이론적 타당성을 검토하였다. J중학교 1학년 학생을 대상으로 학습자 페르소나를 도출하고, 이를 바탕으로 적절한 미디어 저작 도구를 선정·조직하였다. 또한 전문가 자문을 통해 교수·학습안의 완성도를 높였으며, 학생 주도적 탐구·창작·성찰이 가능한 교수·학습 접근 방법과 그 실천 가능성을 제시하였다. 결과 첫째, 교육 목표 대상자 페르소나 분석을 통해, 학생 개인의 흥미와 경험, 그리고 학습 욕구를 충분히 반영한 맞춤형 교수·학습 설계가 학생 주도성 함양에 필수적임을 확인할 수 있었다. 둘째, 학생 주도성 함양을 위한 미디어 저작 도구의 활용은 학생들이 학습의 전 과정을 능동적으로 이끌어가는 데 중요한 역할을 함을 보여준다. 셋째, IB MYP 예술 목표 기반 중학교 미술과 미디어아트 교수·학습 접근 방법은 학생 주도성 함양에 있어 구조적이고 체계적인 모델임을 확인할 수 있다. 결론 첫째, 학생 주도성을 높이기 위해서는 학습자의 흥미와 경험, 학습 욕구를 충분히 반영한 맞춤형 교수·학습 설계가 필요하다. 둘째, 다양한 미디어 저작 도구의 활용이 학생들의 자기주도적 학습 역량과 창의성을 신장하는 데 중요한 역할을 한다. 셋째, IB MYP 예술 목표에 기반한 체계적 학습 구조가 학생 주도성 함양에 효과적이다. 넷째, 미디어아트를 중심으로 한 융합적 미술교육의 확장 가능성을 확인할 수 있었다.

영문 초록

Objectives The purpose of this study is to propose a media arts teaching and learning approach that incorporates a systematic learning structure based on the IB MYP Arts objectives in order to foster student agency in middle school arts classes. Methods To this end, the study analyzed the IB MYP Arts objectives and the 2022 revised Korean middle school arts curriculum to examine the theoretical validity of a student agency-based teaching and learning approach. Learner personas were developed based on first-year students at J Middle School, and appropriate media authoring tools were selected and organized accordingly. In addition, expert consultations were conducted to enhance the completeness of the teaching and learning plan, and a feasible approach was proposed that enables student-led inquiry, creation, and reflection. Results Firstly, the analysis of learner personas confirmed that personalized teaching and learning design—reflecting students' individual interests, experiences, and learning needs—is essential for fostering student agency. Secondly, the use of media authoring tools to promote student agency plays a critical role in enabling students to actively lead the entire learning process. Thirdly, the IB MYP Arts objectives-based teaching and learning approach in middle school arts and media arts was found to be a structured and systematic model effective in enhancing student agency. Conclusions Firstly, to enhance student agency, it is necessary to design personalized teaching and learning experiences that fully reflect learners’ interests, experiences, and learning needs. Secondly, the use of diverse media authoring tools plays a crucial role in strengthening students’ self-directed learning capabilities and creativity. Thirdly, a systematic learning structure based on the IB MYP Arts objectives is effective in fostering student agency. Fourthly, the study confirmed the potential for expanding integrated arts education centered on media arts.
