국문 초록

목적 본 연구는 대학생이 지각한 부모의 심리적 통제와 사회적 문제해결능력의 관계에서 자아분화의 매개효과를 검증하는 것을 목적으로 하였다. 방법 이를 위해 4년제 대학교 남녀재학생을 대상으로 온라인 설문조사를 실시하여 자료를 수집하였으며, 301부를 최종 통계분석에 사용하였다. 수집한 자료로 SPSS 29.0을 이용하여 변인별 기술통계분석, 신뢰도분석, 상관관계 분석을 실시하였으며, 자아분화의 매개효과 검증을 위하여 위계적 회귀분석과 Bootstrapping을 실시하였다. 결과 부모의 심리적 통제는 사회적 문제해결능력, 자아분화와 통계적으로 유의한 부적상관관계가 있는 것으로 나타났으며, 자아분화와 사회적 문제해결능력은 정적상관 관계가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 또한, 대학생이 지각한 부모의 심리적 통제와 사회적 문제해결능력의 관계에서 자아분화가 매개하는 것으로 나타났다. 결론 첫째, 대학생이 지각하는 부모의 심리적 통제, 사회적 문제해결능력 및 자아분화의 관계를 검증하였으며, 자아분화와 그 하위요인인 인지적 기능 대 정서적 기능, 자아통합, 가족투사, 정서적 단절, 가족퇴행의 매개효과를 각각 검증하였음에 의의가 있다. 둘째, 대학생의 사회적 문제해결능력 수준에 영향을 미치는 주요 변인들을 밝혀냄으로써 사회적 문제해결능력 수준이 낮은 대학생을 위해 대학생이 지각한 부모의 심리적 통제 감소 및 자아분화 향상과 관련된 상담 및 교육프로그램 개발에 대한 기초자료를 제시하였음에 의의가 있다. 셋째, 대학생들의 사회적 문제해결능력 수준 향상을 위해 대학생의 가족 관련 변인과 개인 변인을 함께 고려하여 교육 및 상담 장면에서 다각적 접근과 실제적인 개입 전략을 수립할 수 있는 기초자료를 제공하였음에 의의가 있다.

영문 초록

Objectives The purpose of this study was to verify the mediating effect of self-differentiation in the relationship between perceived parents' psychological control and social problem-solving ability by university students. Methods To this end, an online survey of male and female students at a four-year university was conducted to collect data, and 301 copies were used for the final statistical analysis. Descriptive statistical analysis, reliability analysis, and correlation analysis for each variable were performed using SPSS 29.0 as the collected data, and hierarchical regression analysis and bootstrapping were performed to verify the mediating effect of self-differentiation. Results Parents' psychological control was found to have a statistically significant negative correlation with social problem-solving ability and self-differentiation, and self-differentiation and social problem-solving ability were found to have a positive correlation. In addition, it was found that self-differentiation was mediated in the relationship between parents' psychological control perceived by university students and social problem-solving ability . Conclusions First, it is significant that the relationship between parents' psychological control perceived by university students, social problem-solving ability, and self-differentiation was verified, and the mediating effects of self-differentiation, cognitive function versus emotional function, self-integration, family projection, emotional disconnection, and family retreat were verified, respectively. Second, it is significant that by identifying major variables that affect the level of social problem-solving ability of university students, basic data on the development of counseling and educational programs related to the reduction of parental psychological control and improvement of self-differentiation perceived by university students were presented for college students with low levels of social problem-solving ability. Third, it is significant in that it provided basic data to establish a multifaceted approach and practical intervention strategy in the field of education and counseling by considering university students' family-related and individual variables together to improve the level of social problem-solving ability of university students.
