유아교사 양성과정에 있는 보육교사의 유보통합에 대한 담론

국문 초록

목적 본 연구에서는 유보통합의 본격적인 실행을 앞둔 현시점에 예비유아교사들이 보육교사로서 바라본 유보통합에 대한 담론을 살펴보고자 한다. 방법 이를 위하여 경상북도 소재 A시의 보육기관에 유아교사 양성과정에 있는 보육교사 8명을 대상으로 개별 심층 면담을 실시하였으며, 면담자료를 전사하고 분석하여 결과를 도출하였다. 결과 보육교사의 유보통합에 대한 담론은 걱정과 바람으로 나타났으며 하위범주는 끝이 없는 배움의 길, 잃어버린 정체성, 아이들이 최우선, 질풍노도의 시기에 놓인 걱정과 근무환경의 봄날, 교육과 보육의 어울림, 낯선데 익숙한 배움, 인성! 영유아교사의 첫걸음에 대한 바람으로 나타났다. 결론 본 연구의 결과는 유보통합의 현주소를 진단하고 유아교육과정과 교사의 자격 요건, 처우 개선 등 구체적인 방안을 모색하여 정책적 논의와 실천이 필요함을 시사한다. 또한 유보통합의 정책 방향에 따라 움직여야만 하는 유아교육관련 기관장 및 교사들이 만족하고 그 중심의 대상이 되는 영유아를 위한 정책이 실현되기를 기대한다.

영문 초록

Objectives In this study, we would like to examine the discourse on the integration of kindergartens viewed by prospective early childhood teachers as childcare teachers at a time when full-scale implementation of the integration of kindergartens is ahead. Methods For this purpose, individual in-depth interviews were conducted with eight childcare teachers who were working at a childcare center in City A in Gyeongsangbuk-do and attending an early childhood teacher training course, and the interview data were transcribed and analyzed to derive results. Results Childcare teachers' discourse on the integration of kindergartens and kindergartens was expressed as concerns and wishes, and the subcategories were the endless path to learning, lost identity, children being the top priority, worries in a turbulent time, spring days in the working environment, and the lack of education and childcare. It emerged as a desire for completeness, familiar learning in the unfamiliar, and priority principles of character education. Conclusions The results of this study suggest the need for policy discussion and practice by diagnosing the current state of kindergarten integration and seeking specific measures, such as improving the early childhood education curriculum, teacher qualification requirements, and treatment. In addition, we hope that the heads of early childhood education institutions and teachers who must move in accordance with the policy direction of kindergarten integration will be satisfied, and that the policy for infants and toddlers, which is the central target, will be realized.
