국문 초록

목적 본 연구는 또래관계에서 인기유아의 행동 특성을 알아보는데 목적이 있다. 방법 본 연구의 연구 참여자는 Y유치원 만 5세 H반의 인기아 나조운(가명)이다. 본연구는 2023년 9월 4일부터 11월 30일까지 주2-3회로 총 30회 수행되었으며 인기유아의 행동 특성을 오전 자유 선택 놀이시간을 중심으로 참여 관찰하여 질적연구를 하였다. 결과 첫째, 인기아는 또래관계에서 또래의 말을 잘 들어주고, 긍정적이고 배려하는 긍정적인 행동 특성이 두드러지게 관찰되었다. 둘째, 인기아는 특정 또래에게 무시, 불친절 등 부정적인 행동들이 관찰되었고 또한 가끔 선생님에게 일러바치는 모습도 관찰되었다. 결론 첫째, 인기아의 행동과 특성을 살펴보는 것은 그들의 또래관계를 이해하고 예측하는 데 유용하지만, 인기아 개개인마다 자신만의 특성도 있으므로 신중하게 고려해야 한다. 둘째, 또래관계에서 관찰된 인기아의 행동 특성은 개인마다 다양하게 나타나며 다양성을 보여준다는 사실을 알 수 있었다. 셋째, 유아의 사회적 지위는 개인의 특성 만으로만 성립된 것은 아니다.

영문 초록

Objectives The purpose of this study is to investigate the behavioral characteristics of popular infants in peer relationships. Methods The participant of this study is Na Jo-woon (pseudonym) who is a popular child in class H at the age of 5 in Y kindergarten. This study was conducted a total of 30 times from September 4 to November 30, 2023, two to three times a week, and a qualitative study was conducted by participating in and observing the behavioral characteristics of popular infants, centering on the morning free-choice play time. Results First, in peer relationships, popular children were observed to listen to their peers well, and positive and caring behavioral characteristics were remarkably observed. Second, popular children were observed to have negative behaviors such as neglect and unfriendliness to certain peers, and they were also sometimes seen telling teachers. Conclusions First, examining the behavior and characteristics of popular children is useful for understanding and predicting their peer relationships, but each popular child has his or her own characteristics, so it should be carefully considered. Second, it was found that the behavioral characteristics of popular children observed in peer relations vary from individual to individual and show diversity. Third, the social status of infants is not established only by individual characteristics.
