발명교육센터의 현대화 시설 개선 사업 사례 분석 및 시사점: G광역시교육청 사례를 중심으로

국문 초록

목적 본 연구는 발명교육센터 현대화 시설 개선 사업의 사례를 분석하고, 시설 및 장비 개선이 발명교육센터의 운영과 교육 과정에 미친 영향을 평가하기 위함이다. 방법 이를 위하여 G광역시에 위치한 A발명교육센터와 B발명교육센터를 대상으로 현대화 사업의 추진 과정과 결과를 분석하여 환경 개선 우수 사례와 현대화 시설 구축에 따른 교육과정 운영 사례를 도출하였다. 시설/기자재 측면에서는 창의적이고 융합적인 활동이 가능하도록 공간 구성이 이루어졌는지 평가하였으며, 예산 측면에서는 계획의 적정성과 집행의 효율성을 중심으로 검토하였다. 활용 측면에서는 개선된 시설과 기자재가 발명교육센터의 교육 과정에 얼마나 효과적으로 적용되고 있는지를 분석하였다. 결과 현대화 사업은 발명교육센터의 물리적 환경을 개선하고 첨단 기자재를 도입함으로서 창의적이고 융합적인 학습 환경을 조성할 수 있도록 하였다. 이를 통해 발명교육의 질적 향상과 교육 접근성이 크게 확대될 수 있음을 확인할 수 있었다. 개선된 시설은 학생들의 창의적 탐구와 협업 활동을 지원하며, AI 기반 학습 도구와 3D 프린터 등 첨단 기자재는 프로젝트 기반 학습(PBL)과 실습 중심 교육의 효과성을 증대시켰다. 또한, 정규 교육과정을 비롯한 지역사회 연계 프로그램은 교육 격차 해소와 발명교육의 대중화에 기여하였다. 결론 이 연구는 발명교육센터 현대화 사업의 체계적인 추진 절차를 제시하고, 시설 개선이 발명교육의 운영과 지역사회 기여도에 미치는 긍정적 영향을 입증하였다. 이를 바탕으로 발명교육센터의 지속적 개선을 위한 평가 시스템 구축, 지역사회와의 협력 강화, 프로그램 다양성 확대, 교사 연수 확대, 성공 사례 확산 등 정책적 제언을 도출하였다.

영문 초록

Objectives The purposes of this study were to analyze the case of the invention education center modernization facility improvement project and to evaluate the impact of facility and equipment improvement on the operation and curriculum of the invention education center. Methods To this end, the process and results of the modernization project were analyzed for the A Invention Education Center and the B Invention Education Center located in G Metropolitan City, and excellent cases of environmental improvement and curriculum operation cases according to the construction of modern facilities were derived. In terms of facilities/equipment, we evaluated whether the space was organized to allow creative and integrated activities, and in terms of budget, we reviewed the appropriateness of the plan and the efficiency of execution. In terms of utilization, we analyzed how effectively the improved facilities and equipment were applied to the curriculum of the invention education center. Results The modernization project improved the physical environment of the invention education center and introduced cutting-edge equipment to create a creative and convergent learning environment. Through this, it was confirmed that the quality of invention education could be improved and educational accessibility could be greatly expanded. The improved facilities support students’ creative exploration and collaboration activities, and cutting-edge equipment such as AI-based learning tools and 3D printers increased the effectiveness of project-based learning (PBL) and practice-centered education. In addition, community-linked programs including regular education courses contributed to eliminating the education gap and popularizing invention education. Conclusions This study presents a systematic implementation procedure for the modernization project of the invention education center and proves the positive impact of facility improvement on the operation of invention education and contribution to the local community. Based on this, policy suggestions were derived, such as establishing an evaluation system for continuous improvement of the invention education center, strengthening cooperation with the local community, expanding program diversity, expanding teacher training, and spreading successful cases.
