국문 초록

목적 본 연구에서는 지각된 부·모의 심리적 통제와 20대 성인의 지연행동의 관계에서 내면화된 수치심의 매개효과를 검증하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 방법 이를 위하여 서울, 경기도 소재 20대 성인 357명의 설문자료를 분석에 활용하였으며 부·모의 심리적 통제를 독립변인, 지연행동을 종속변인으로 하여 내면화된 수치심의 매개효과를 검증하였다. 자료 분석을 위해 SPSS 21.0을 사용하여 Pearson 상관분석을 실시하였다. 다음으로 측정변인들이 잠재변인을 적절히 측정하고 있는지 검증하기 위해 AMOS 18.0을 이용하여 확인적 요인분석을 실시하였고, 측정모형의 적합도와 요인부하량을 확인하였다. 다음으로 본 연구모형의 타당성 검증을 위하여 연구모형의 적합도를 검증하였다. 마지막으로, 채택된 연구모형의 매개효과의 유의성을 검증하기 위하여 경로분석과 부트스트래핑(Bootstrapping)을 실시하여 직접효과와 간접효과, 매개효과를 확인하였다 결과 부·모의 심리적 통제는 내면화된 수치심에 정적인 영향을 미쳤으며, 지연행동에도 정적인 영향을 주는 것으로 나타났다. 부·모의 심리적 통제와 지연행동의 관계에서 내면화된 수치심은 매개효과를 가졌다. 부의 심리적 통제는 지연 행동의 관계에서 내면화된 수치심이 완전매개하는 반면, 모의 심리적 통제는 지연행동의 관계에서 내면화된 수치심이 부분매개하는 것을 확인하였다. 결론 부·모의 심리적 통제가 20대 성인의 지연행동에 미치는 영향에서 내면화된 수치심의 매개경로를 검증하였다. 본 연구 결과에 근거하여 상담 장면에서 20대 성인의 지연행동 형성의 발달 과정에 대한 이해를 돕고, 내면화된 수치심으로 심리적 어려움을 호소하는 내담자에게 상담 전략과 개입 방안을 제공하였다.

영문 초록

Objectives The purpose of this study is to examine the mediating effect of internalized shame on the relationship between perceived parental psychological control and procrastination of twenties. Methods To verify these hypotheses, young adults in their 20s, living in Seoul and Gyeonggi area participated in the questionnaire covering The Dependency-oriented and Achievement-oriented Psychological Control Scale, Internalized Shame Scale, and Adult Inventory of Procrastination. Total 357 questionnaires out of 387 are utilized to reach conclusions with SPSS 21.0 and AMOS 18.0. Results Firstly, parental psychological control is positively correlated with the internalized shame and procrastination. It means that the higher perception of psychological control, the higher internalized shame and the more procrastination can be resulted in. Secondly, internalized shame has mediating effect on the relationship between parental psychological control and procrastination. Psychological control of fathers indirectly affects twenties internalized shame and brings negative impact on procrastination. On the other hands, mothers’psychological control directly influences internalized shame and procrastination. Conclusions The implication of the study is suggested in the discussion. This study not only gives better understanding of the developmental process of procrastination for young adults in their 20’s, but it can also provide counseling strategies and intervention directions to clients experiencing psychological difficulties with internalized shame.
