국문 초록

목적 본 연구의 목적은 대학생의 사회적 문제해결능력과 대학생활적응의 관계에서 정서표현의 조절효과를 검증하는 것이다. 방법 이를 위해 부산, 울산, 대전 등에 소재하고 있는 4년제 대학교에 재학 중인 학생을 대상으로 온라인 설문을 실시하고 157부를 최종 통계분석에 사용하였다. 수집한 자료는 SPSS 22.0을 이용하여 변인별 기술통계분석, 신뢰도분석, 상관관계분석을 실시, Process Macro for SPSS V3.5 Model 1을 활용하여 조절효과를 검증하였다. 결과 첫째, 대학생의 사회적 문제해결능력은 대학생활적응에 유의미한 정적 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 대학생의 정서표현은 대학생활적응에 유의미한 정적 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 대학생의 사회적 문제해결능력과 대학생활적응의 관계에서 정서표현이 조절하는 것으로 나타났다. 결론 첫째, 대학생의 사회적 문제해결능력, 대학생활적응 및 정서표현의 관계와 이들의 관계에서 정서표현이 중요한 조절요인으로 작용함을 검증하였음에 의의가 있다. 둘째, 대학생의 대학생활적응에 영향을 미치는 주요변인들을 밝혀냄으로써 대학생활적응 수준이 낮은 대학생의 상담장면에서 효과적인 개입을 위한 기초자료로 제시해 줄 수 있다는 점에서 의의를 찾을 수 있다. 셋째, 본 연구결과는 대학생의 대학생활적응을 향상시킬 수 있는 사회적 문제해결능력과 정서표현과 관련된 상담 및 교육 프로그램 개발에 대한 유용한 시사점을 제공함으로써 그 의의가 있다.

영문 초록

Objectives The purpose of this study is to examine the moderating effect of emotional expression in the relationship between college students' social problem-solving ability and their adjustment to college life. Methods To achieve this, an online survey was conducted with college students enrolled in four-year universities located in Busan, Ulsan, and Daejeon, and a total of 157 responses were used for the final statistical analysis. The collected data were analyzed using SPSS 22.0 for descriptive statistics, reliability analysis, and correlation analysis. Additionally, the moderating effect was tested using Process Macro for SPSS V3.5, Model 1. Results First, college students' social problem-solving ability was found to have a significant positive impact on their adjustment to college life. Second, college students' emotional expression was found to have a significant positive impact on their adjustment to college life. Third, emotional expression was found to moderate the relationship between social problem-solving ability and adjustment to college life. Conclusions First, the study is significant in that it verified the relationship between college students' social problem-solving ability, adjustment to college life, and emotional expression, and demonstrated that emotional expression plays an important moderating role in these relationships. Second, by identifying the key variables that influence college students' adjustment to college life, the study provides foundational data that can be used for effective intervention in counseling situations for students with low adjustment to college life. Third, the findings of this study offer implications for the development of counseling and educational programs related to social problem-solving ability and emotional expression, which can help improve college students' adjustment to college life.
