초등교사의 이전재배치 학교 근무경험에 대한 자전적 내러티브 탐구

국문 초록

목적 본 연구는 이전재배치 초등학교라는 특수상황에 처한 초등학교에서 근무한 초등교사의 근무 경험의 의미를 탐색하기 위하여 연구를 수행하였다. 방법 이를 위하여 A지역의 이전재배치 된 B초등학교에서 근무한 연구자 자신을 연구대상으로 자전적 내러티브 연구방법을 적용하여 연구를 수행하였다. 내러티브 연구방법에 따라 수집된 현장텍스트를 중간텍스트로 구성한 뒤, 선행연구자료와 교육학 이론, 교육정책 등과 연계하여 연구텍스트로 변환하는 과정을 거쳤다. 결과 자전적 내러티브 탐구를 수행하면서, 내러티브 탐구의 3가지 축인 시간성, 공간성, 사회성을 중심으로 이야기하기(telling) 과정을 거치고, 이를 다시 이야기하기(retelling) 과정을 거치면서 ‘교사로 존재하지 못하는 이전재배치 학교의 교사’, ‘이전 업무에 휩싸인 교직원 간 역할 갈등’, ‘기존 학교 학생·학부모와 이전 후 전학 온 학생·학부모의 대립’, ‘새로운 학교에 대한 상급 기관의 기대와 요구’, ‘새롭게 자리를 잡는 학교와 교사로서의 성장’의 범주화 된 주제별 내용을 기술하면서 이전재배치 된 초등학교에서 근무한 초등교사의 근무경험의 의미를 도출하였다. 결론 이 연구는 학교 이전재배치와 관련하여 교사의 근무경험을 다룬 최초의 연구라는 의의가 있으며, 학교 이전재배치에서의 초등교사 근무경험과 관련한 개인적, 실제적, 사회적 차원의 논의를 형성하였다.

영문 초록

Objectives This study was conducted to explore the meaning of the work experience of elementary school teachers who worked at an elementary school in a special situation called a relocated elementary school. Methods The study was conducted by applying an autobiographical narrative inquiry research method with the researcher who worked at the relocated B elementary school in area A. The field texts collected according to the narrative inquiry research method were organized into intermediate texts, and then went through the process of converting them into research texts by linking them with previous research data, pedagogical theories, and educational policies. Results While conducting autobiographical narrative inquiry, The researcher went through a telling process focusing on the three axes of narrative inquiry: temporality, spatiality, and sociality, and then performed a retelling process. It described the content categorized by topic, such as ‘teachers of the relocated school who cannot exist as teachers’, ‘role conflict between faculty and staff caught up in relocation work’, ‘Conflict between students and parents of the existing school and students and parents of the new school after relocation,’ ‘Expectations and demands of higher authorities for the new school,’ and ‘Growth as a new school and teacher.’ Through this, the meaning of the work experience of elementary school teachers who worked in relocated elementary schools was derived. Conclusions This study is significant as it is the first study to address teachers' work experiences in relation to school relocation. Discussions were formed at personal, practical, and social levels related to the work experience of elementary school teachers in school relocation, and three suggestions were presented.
