발달지연 영유아 치료사의 부모 상담 경험에 대한 질적 연구

국문 초록

목적 본 연구는 발달지연 영유아를 지원하는 치료사의 부모 상담에 대한 경험을 살펴보는 데 있다. 방법 이를 위하여 D지역에 소재한 아동병원 행동발달센터에서 근무하는 치료사 5명을 대상으로 일대일 심층 면담을 통해 자료를 수집하였다. 수집된 자료는 가변성을 허용한 반 구조화된 질문지를 사용하여 1차 면담을 기준으로 50분 정도의 시간이 소요되었으며, 면담 횟수는 1회~2회까지 진행하였다. 수집된 자료는 반복적 비교 분석법을 활용하여 분석하였다. 결과 심층 면담을 통한 자료 수집 후 분석한 결과, 발달지연 영유아를 지원하는 치료사의 부모 상담에 대한 경험에 대해 ‘치료사로서의 성장’, ‘발달지연 영유아 치료’, ‘부모 상담의 어려움’, ‘부모 상담의 중요성’의 주제가 도출되었다. 결론 발달지연 영유아를 지원하는 치료사는 치료 대상자의 현재 발달 수준을 표준화된 검사를 통해 평가하고. 그 결과를 기준으로 명확한 치료 계획을 세우며, 부모와 상호협력적인 관계를 맺고 서로 소통하면서 치료를 위해 노력한다면 치료 결과에도 긍정적인 영향을 미칠 것이라고 기대한다.

영문 초록

Objectives The purpose of this study is to examine the experiences of parental counseling of therapists who support infants with developmental delays. Methods To this end, data were collected through one-on-one in-depth interviews with five therapists working at the Children's Hospital Behavioral Development Center located in area D. The collected data took about 50 minutes based on the first interview using a semi-structured questionnaire that allowed variability, and the number of interviews was conducted from once to twice. The collected data were analyzed using the repetitive comparative analysis method most commonly used in qualitative research. Results As a result of collecting and analyzing data through in-depth interviews, themes such as “growth as a therapist”, “developmental delayed infant care”, “difficulty in parent counseling” and “the importance of parent counseling” were derived for the experiences of therapists who support infants with developmental delays. Conclusions The therapist who supports infants and toddlers with delayed development evaluates the current level of development of the subject through standardized tests. If a clear treatment plan is established based on the results, a cooperative relationship with parents, and efforts for treatment while communicating with each other, it is expected that it will have a positive effect on treatment results.
