To explore the coordinated development mechanism between the Outcome-Based Education (OBE) evaluation system and teachers’ ideological and political literacy in English teacher education, this study takes as a single case the Introduction to Chinese Culture, a provincial first-class online-offline blended course hosted by the author for English teacher education majors in Hubei Province. It comprehensively adopts the literature review method, content analysis method, and a 5-year (2020–2024) longitudinal study method to focus on analyzing the empowerment path and practical value of information technology tools in the coordination of the two aforementioned elements. The results show that, in long-term teaching practice, through the construction of resource databases, upgrading of dynamic evaluation systems, and optimization of feedback loops, information technology has promoted the OBE evaluation system from a single focus on language proficiency to a gradual evolution into a three-dimensional evaluation index that integrates language expression accuracy, cultural teaching transformation ability, and the integration degree of ideological and political elements. Meanwhile, teachers’ ideological and political literacy exhibits phased progressive characteristics: from material dependence to independent design, and further to effect quantification. This literacy, together with the OBE evaluation system, has formed a dynamic coordinated loop featuring technical support, literacy improvement, and curriculum optimization. The three-stage coordinated evolution model refined in this study can provide an operable practical paradigm for the evaluation reform of English teacher education courses and the improvement of teachers’ ideological and political literacy, as well as offer references for similar foreign language teacher education practices.
영문 초록
为探索英语师范教育中OBE(成果导向教育)评价体系与教师思政素养的协同发展机制,本研究以笔者主持的湖北省级一流线上线下混合课程《中国文化导论》(面向英语师范专业)为单一案例,综合运用文献研究法、内容分析法及为期5 年(2020-2024)的跟踪研究法,重点剖析信息化工具在二者协同中的赋能路径与实践价值。研究表明:在长期教学实践中,信息化通过资源库搭建、动态评测系统升级及反馈闭环优化,推动OBE 评价体系从单一语言能力导向,逐步升级为融合语言表达准确性、文化教学转化能力与思政元素融入度的三维评价指标;同时,教师的思政素养呈现出从素材依赖到设计自主、再到效果量化的阶段性进阶特征,与OBE 评价构建起技术支撑、素养提升、课程优化的动态协同闭环。研究提炼的三阶协同进化模型可为英语师范类课程的评价改革及教师思政素养提升提供可操作的实践范式,为同类外语师范教育实践提供参考。
