국문 초록

목적 본 연구는 생태체계적 접근을 통한 아동의 공동체의식의 영향요인을 성차 비교분석을 하는 데 연구목적을 두었다. 방법 연구대상은 한국아동패널 12차년도(2019) 5학년, 13차년도(2020) 6학년 1,249명의 데이터를 활용하였다. 수집된 자료는 SPSS 26프로그램으로 분석하였다. 척도의 신뢰성을 위해 Cronbach’s alpha값을 도출하고, 인구통계학적 특성과 주요변수 특성을 파악하기 위해 빈도분석, 기술통계 분석과 성별에 따른 주요변수 차이를 확인하기 위해 독립표본 t-test를 실시하였다. 주요변수 간 상관관계를 파악하기 위해 Pearson 이변량 상관분석과 공동체의식 영향요인을 분석하기 위해 통제변수를 적용한 위계적 중다회귀분석을 실시하였다. 결과 첫째, 성별에 따른 주요변수의 차이를 확인한 결과, 성취압력은 남학생이 더 높게 인식하는 경향이 있었고, 학교규칙, 교우관계에 대한 적응 수준은 여학생의 점수가 더 높은 것으로 나타나, 성별에 따른 공동체의식 영향요인 비교의 필요성을 확인하였다. 둘째, 공동체의식 영향요인 검증 결과, 남학생은 모와의 의사소통, 학교규칙, 교우관계, 여학생은 모와의 의사소통, 자율성, 학습활동, 교우관계가 공동체의식에 정적으로 유의한 영향을 미쳤다. 결론 생태체계적 접근을 통한 아동의 공동체의식 영향요인에서 성차에 따라 다름을 확인하였다. 이에 공동체의식의 증진을 위한 방안모색의 기초자료 제공에서 연구의 의의가 있다. 더불어 아동의 공동체의식에 대한 포괄적인 변인 및 종단연구와 공동체의식을 향상시킬 수 있는 실제적일 교육방법, 프로그램 등의 후속연구 방향성을 제언하였다

영문 초록

Objectives The purpose of this study was to compare and analyze the factors influencing children's sense of community through an ecological system approach. Methods The study used the data of 1,249 5th graders in the 12th year (2019) and 6th graders in the 13th year (2020) of the Korean Children's Panel. The collected data were analyzed using the SPSS 26 program. To analyze the reliability of the scale, the Cronbach’s alpha value was derived, and frequency analysis, descriptive statistics analysis, and independent sample t-test were conducted to identify the characteristics of demographic characteristics and major variables. To identify the correlation between major variables, Pearson bivariate correlation analysis was performed to identify the correlation between key variables and hierarchical multiple regression analysis using control variables to analyze the factors influencing community consciousness. Results First, as a result of confirming the differences in major variables by gender, male students tended to perceive achievement pressure more highly, and female students had higher scores on the level of adaptation to school rules and peer relationships, confirming the need for comparing factors influencing community consciousness by gender. Second, as a result of verifying the factors influencing community consciousness, male students' communication with their mothers, school rules, and relationships with friends had a positive and significant effect on community consciousness, while female students' communication with their mothers, autonomy, learning activities, and relationships with friends had a positive and significant effect on community consciousness. Conclusions Through an ecological approach, we confirmed that the factors influencing children's sense of community differ by gender. The study has significance in providing basic data for searching for measures to enhance community consciousness. In addition, a comprehensive longitudinal study on children's sense of community and practical educational methods and programs that can improve the sense of community were suggested.
