일반적 자기효능감을 변인으로 한 음악치료 실험연구 동향 분석: 국내 학술지를 중심으로

국문 초록

목적 본 연구에서는 2003년부터 2023년까지 국내 학술지에 발행된 일반적 자기효능감에 관한 음악치료 실험연구 논문을 대상으로 발간유형, 연구 대상, 연구 도구, 프로그램 특성을 분석하여 동향을 파악하고자 하였다. 방법 자료수집을 위해 논문 검색서비스(RISS, KCI, Google Scholar)를 이용하여 ‘음악치료’, ‘음악 중재’, ‘실험연구’, ‘자기효능감’, ‘일반적 자기효능감’ 키워드를 활용하여 수집된 논문 1,438편 중 기준에 부합한 논문 15편을 대상으로 발간유형, 연구 대상, 연구 도구, 프로그램 특성 영역과 하위 영역에 따라 분석하였다. 결과 학술지의 발간 유형 분석 결과 2007년부터 2023년까지 발행된 논문이 7편(46.7%), 음악학 분야의 발행 학술지가 총 4편(26.7%)으로 발행 부수가 가장 많았다. 연구 대상은 10대가 57명(50%)으로 교육 지원의 수요가 높은 청소년(40%), 학교(20%)를 대상으로 수행한 연구를 가장 많이 수행했다. 연구 도구 분석 결과 프로그램 진행 회기는 10~14회기가 11편(73.3%)으로 가장 보편적이었으며, 단일 집단 사전-사후 설계가 8편(53.3%)으로 가장 많이 채택되었다. 측정 도구로는 일반적 자기효능감 척도 24문항이 7편(46.6%)으로 가장 많이 사용되었다. 마지막으로 음악치료 프로그램의 기법은 창작이 13편(29.5%)이며 그중 Song Writing 기법이 9편(20.5%)으로 가장 많이 사용되었으며 사용 음악은 가요가 4편(26.8%)으로 가장 자주 사용하였다. 일반적 자기효능감 이외의 추가 변수로는 사회적 자기효능감이 4편(25%)이었고, 자기효능감 점수의 변화에 대하여 10편(66.7%)의 논문들이 p<0.05 이상의 유의한 신뢰도를 제시하였다. 결론 본 연구는 21년 동안 발행된 일반적 자기효능감을 변인으로 한 음악치료 실험연구의 흐름을 발간 유형, 연구 대상, 측정 도구, 음악치료 프로그램 특성으로 분석하여 제시하였다는 것에 의의가 있다.

영문 초록

Objectives This study aimed to identify trends in music therapy experimental studies involving general self-efficacy published in domestic academic journals between 2003 and 2023. To this end, publication type, research participants, research tools, and program characteristics were analyzed. Methods To collect data, the key terms “music therapy,” “music intervention,” “experimental study,” “self-efficacy,” and “general self-efficacy” were used to search RISS, KCI, and Google Scholar. Among the 1,438 articles initially retrieved, 15 met the inclusion criteria. These 15 studies were analyzed according to publication type, research participants, research tools, program characteristics, and their respective subcategories. Results Analysis of publication types showed that seven (46.7%) were published between 2007 and 2023, and four (26.7%) were in the field of music studies, the largest share. For research participants, those in their teens numbered 57 (50%), and studies focused primarily on adolescents (40%) requiring educational support, with schools (20%) serving as the primary setting. In terms of research tools, 10-14 sessions were most common (11 papers, 73.3%), and a single-group pre-post design was used most frequently (8 papers, 53.3%). The 24-item General Self-Efficacy Scale was employed by 7 papers (46.6%), making it the most widely used measure. Concerning the music therapy program characteristics, creative techniques were most common (29.5%), with Song Writing used by 9 papers (20.5%), and pop songs (K-pop) were used most frequently (4 papers, 26.8%). Besides general self-efficacy, social self-efficacy was included in 4 papers (25%) as an additional variable. Lastly, 10 papers (66.7%) reported a statistically significant increase in self-efficacy scores at p<0.05. Conclusions This study is significant in that it comprehensively analyzed the trends in music therapy experimental research on general self-efficacy over 21 years in terms of publication type, research participants, measurement tools, and music therapy program characteristics.
