국문 초록

목적 본 연구는 대학생의 거부민감성이 대인관계문제 간의 관계에서 사회불안과 자기자비의 순차적 매개효과를 살펴보고자 실시되었다. 방법 이를 검증하기 위해 연구문제에 적합하고 표준화된 4개의 측정도구를 활용하여 설문지를 제작했고, S지역에 위치한 4년제 대학교에 재학 중인 1학년∼4학년 남녀 대학생 300명을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시했다. 그중에서 불성실하게 응답한 37부를 제외하고 총 263명의 자료가 분석에 활용되었다. 결과 본 연구의 주요 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 거부민감성, 사회불안, 자기자비, 대인관계문제 모두 유의미한 상관이 나타났다. 둘째, 거부민감성이 대인관계문제에 미치는 영향에서 사회불안과 자기자비의 부분매개효과가 나타났다. 셋째, 거부민감성이 사회불안과 자기자비를 순차적으로 매개하여 대인관계문제에 간접적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 결론 이러한 연구 결과를 바탕으로 본 연구에서는 거부민감성이 대인관계문제에 미치는 영향을 살펴보고 사회불안과 자기자비에 초점을 맞추어 대인관계문제를 완화시킬 수 있는 정보를 제공하고자 하였다. 이는 실제 상담 장면에서 효과적인 개입방법을 모색하여 내담자에게 도움을 제공할 수 있는 것에 그 목적과 의의가 있다. 이러한 연구결과를 바탕으로 본 연구의 제한점과 후속 연구의 필요성을 논의하였다.

영문 초록

Objectives This study was conducted to examine the sequential mediating effects of social anxiety and self-compassion in the relationship between rejection sensitivity and interpersonal problems among university students. Methods To verify this, a standardized questionnaire consisting of four measurement tools appropriate for the research questions was developed. A survey was conducted among 300 male and female university students from the first to fourth year at a four-year university in the S area. After excluding 37 responses due to insincere answers, data from a total of 263 participants were used for analysis. Results The findings of the analysis were as follows. First, significant correlations were found among rejection sensitivity, social anxiety, self-compassion, and interpersonal problems. Second, social anxiety and self-compassion were found to partially mediate the relationship between rejection sensitivity and interpersonal problems. Third, rejection sensitivity indirectly influenced interpersonal problems through the sequential mediation of social anxiety and self-compassion. Conclusions Based on these research findings, this study aimed to examine the impact of rejection sensitivity on interpersonal problems and provide information on alleviating such issues by focusing on social anxiety and self-compassion. The goal and significance of this study lie in exploring effective intervention methods in counseling settings to support clients experiencing interpersonal difficulties. Furthermore, the study discusses its limitations and suggests directions for future research.
