국문 초록

목적 본 연구에서는 성인 체질량지수와 치주건강상태, 혈압, 스트레스 관련성을 확인하고자 실시하였다. 방법 G지역 치과의원에 내원한 20세 이상의 성인을 대상으로, 2024년 5월 2일부터 7월 29일까지 진행하였고, 총 246명을 최종 분석하였다. 자료는 SPSS 24.0을 이용하여 chi-square test, t-test, Pearson's correlation, Hierarchical regression으로 분석하였다. 결과 분석결과 성별은 남성에서, 연령은 31-40세에서, 현재 질병이 있다는 군에서, 스트레스가 높은 군에서 비만도가 높게 나타났다. 치은염 지수와 치은출혈 지수는 비만인 군에서 정상인 군 보다 높게 나타났다. 체질량지수는 수축기 혈압, 맥박, 스트레스와 유의한 양의 상관관계를 나타냈고, 체질량지수에 영향을 주는 요인은 성별과 나이임을 확인하였다. 결론 성인 비만관리를 위한 방안으로 보다 효율적인 전문가 비만관리 프로그램이 필요하고, 비만은 스트레스와 구강건강과도 관련성이 있으므로 스트레스 및 구강보건적 접근으로 비만문제를 개선할 수 있는 다양한 프로그램이 필요하다고 판단된다.

영문 초록

Objectives This study was conducted to determine the relationship between adult body mass index, periodontal health status, blood pressure, and stress. Methods The study was conducted on adults aged 20 years or older who visited a dental clinic in Region G from May 2 to July 29, 2024, and a total of 246 people were finally analyzed. Data were analyzed using chi-square test, t-test, Pearson's correlation, and Hierarchical regression using SPSS 24.0. Results The analysis results showed that obesity was higher in males, in those aged 31-40, in those with current illnesses, and in those with high stress. The gingivitis index and gingival bleeding index were higher in the obese group than in the normal group. The body mass index showed a significant positive correlation with systolic blood pressure, pulse, and stress, and it was confirmed that the factors affecting the body mass index were gender and age. Conclusions As a measure to manage adult obesity, a more efficient professional obesity management program is needed, and since obesity is also related to stress and oral health, it is judged that various programs that can improve the obesity problem through stress and oral health approaches are needed.
