국문 초록

목적 본 연구는 유아의 자기조절력이 행복감에 미치는 영향에서 어머니 위험감수놀이 허용의 매개효과를 살펴보는 데 그 목적이 있다. 방법 본 연구의 연구대상은 경기도와 충청남도에 소재한 어린이집과 유치원에 재원중인 만 3, 4, 5세 유아 314명과 그들의 어머니이고, 2024년 5월 31일부터 8월 2일까지 질문지를 배부하여 자료를 수집하였다. 수집된 자료는 SPSS WIN 25.0 프로그램을 활용하여 빈도분석, 기술통계, 신뢰도 분석, 상관분석을 실시하였고, Process macro을 적용하여 매개효과를 살펴보았다. 결과 본 연구의 결과는 첫째, 유아의 자기조절력이 유아의 행복감에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타나, 자기조절력이 높을수록 행복감이 높게 나타났다. 둘째, 유아의 자기조절력이 어머니 위험감수놀이 허용에도 정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타나, 유아의 자기조절력이 높을수록 어머니 위험감수놀이 허용도 높은 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 유아의 자기조절력이 행복감에 미치는 영향에서 어머니 위험감수놀이 허용이 유아의 행복감에 간접적인 영향을 주는 부분매개효과가 있는 것으로 나타나, 유아의 자기조절력이 행복감을 증가시킬 뿐만 아니라 어머니의 위험감수놀이 허용을 통해서 유아의 행복감을 증가시키는 것으로 나타났다. 결론 본 연구를 통해 유아의 자기조절력, 어머니 위험감수놀이 허용과 유아의 행복감이 의미 있는 상호연관성이 있음을 확인할 수 있었고, 유아의 자기조절력은 유아의 행복감을 유의미하게 예측하게 하는 변인임을 알 수 있었다. 또한 두 변인의 영향 관계에서 어머니 위험감수놀이 허용이 부분매개효과를 갖는 것으로 확인되어, 유아의 행복감을 높이기 위해서는 유아의 자기조절력 향상과 함께 어머니들이 위험감수놀이를 더 허용할 수 있도록 인식 및 태도 변화가 필요함을 알 수 있었다.

영문 초록

Objectives The purpose of this study was to examine the mediating effect of maternal permission for risky play on the effect of children's self-regulation on their sense of well-being. Methods The subjects of this study were 314 children aged 3, 4, and 5 attending daycare centers and kindergartens in Gyeonggi-do and Chungcheongnam-do and their mothers. The data were collected by distributing questionnaires from May 31 to August 2, 2024. The collected data were analyzed using the SPSS WIN 25.0 program for frequency analysis, descriptive statistics, reliability analysis, and correlation analysis, and the Process macro was applied to examine the mediating effect. Results The results of this study indicate that first, children's self-regulation positively affects their happiness, showing that higher self-regulation is associated with greater happiness. Second, children's self-regulation has a positive impact on mothers' allowance of risky play. This means that as children's self-regulation increases, so does the allowance of risky play by mothers. Third, it was confirmed that in the process of children's self-regulation affecting happiness, the allowance of risky play by mothers has a partial mediating effect that increases the positive influence on children's happiness. This indicates that the allowance of risky play by mothers enhances children's happiness. Conclusions Through this study, we were able to confirm that there is a significant correlation between children's self-regulation, mothers' permission for risky play, and children's happiness, and that children's self-regulation is a variable that significantly predicts children's happiness. In addition, it was confirmed that mothers' permission for risky play had a partial mediating effect in the relationship between the two variables, and it was found that in order to increase children's happiness, it is necessary to improve children's self-regulation and change mothers' awareness and attitudes so that they can allow more risky play.
