대학교수의 고용서비스 연계 취업교과목 운영경험에 관한 질적 연구: 대학교수의 진로지도 역량을 중심으로

국문 초록

목적 본 연구의 목적은 대학교수의 고용서비스 연계 취업교과목 운영경험을 분석하여 대학 진로교육과정 운영 및 진로지도에 관한 새로운 이해를 얻고 교육과정 개선의 기초자료를 생성하는데 둔다. 방법 본 연구에서는 표적집단면접을 통해 자료를 수집하여 질적 내용분석을 수행하였다. 연구 참여자는 A대학교에서 고용서비스가 연계된 취업교과목 운영에 참여한 학과교수 5인이다. 결과 질적 내용분석 결과 5개 주범주, 13개 하위범주, 53개 개념이 형성되었다. 대학교수의 고용서비스 연계 취업교과목 운영경험은 ‘자의반 타의반 맡아 경험 토대로 숙고·이해하며 준비’, ‘깊이 상담하며 전공 정보·경험 잘 전달해 신뢰 쌓고 시야 넓힘’, ‘취업도 안 해봤는데 다 다루기도 부족하고 지원받기도 어려운’, ‘전문성 보완된 상담·수업과 선택권 강화된 소통기반 지원’, ‘나누며 의논하며 가보니 학생·교수 다 도운 진로수업’으로 의미화되었다. 결론 본 연구의 의의는 다음과 같다. 대학교수의 고용서비스 연계 취업교과목 운영을 통해 수업을 중심으로 학과 내 학생상담이 더 활성화된 것을 확인할 수 있었다. 대학교수의 고용서비스 연계 취업교과목 운영 참여에 있어 ‘주도적 진로지도’ 역량의 역할이 중요함을 확인할 수 있었다. 고학력 청년 대상 고용정책이 고등교육 현장에서 실제로 어떻게 구현되는지를 생생하게 드러낼 수 있었다.

영문 초록

Objectives The purpose of this study is to analyze the experience of university professors in operating employment courses linked to employment services to gain new understanding of university career curriculum operation and career guidance, and to create basic data for curriculum improvement. Methods In this study, data were collected through focus group interviews and qualitative content analysis was conducted. The research participants were five professors from a department at University A who participated in the operation of employment courses linked to employment services. Results As a result of qualitative content analysis, 5 main categories, 13 subcategories, and 53 concepts were formed. University faculty’s experience in operating employment courses linked to employment services include ‘Take charge by self-directed and other-directed and prepare by reflecting and understanding based on experience’, ‘Build trust and broaden horizons by counseling deeply and conveying major information and experience well’, ‘I haven't even tried to get a job, but it's not enough to handle everything and it's difficult to get support’, ‘Counseling and classes with supplemented expertise and communication-based support with enhanced options’, ‘After sharing and discussing, career class that both students and faculties helped’. Conclusions The significance of this study is as follows. We were able to confirm that through university professors’ employment service-linked employment course operation, student counseling within the department was more active, centering on classes. We were able to confirm that the role of ‘proactive career guidance’ competency was important in university faculty’s participation in the employment service-linked employment course operation. We were able to vividly reveal how employment policies targeting highly educated youth are actually implemented in the field of higher education.
