어린이집 보육실습 지도교사 지원을 위한 실행연구

국문 초록

목적 본 연구의 목적은 어린이집 보육실습 지도교사의 실습지도와 관련된 어려움을 알아본 뒤 이를 지원하는 방안을 마련하여 실행하고, 그 과정에서 나타난 보육실습 지도교사의 변화를 살펴보는 것이다. 방법 이를 위해 계획-실행 및 관찰-반성-재계획이 순환되는 실행연구 방법을 활용했다. 2023년 1월부터 2023년 11월까지 경기도에 소재한 B 어린이집의 보육실습 지도교사 2명과 원장, 그리고 연구자가 실행연구에 참여했다. 연구 참여자 간의 공동의 문제 인식을 기반으로 지원방안을 모색하였으며, 1차 실행, 2차 실행의 순환적 과정을 수행했다. 결과 첫째, 어린이집 보육실습 지도교사 지원을 위한 1차 실행은 보육실습지도 전의 과정으로 그동안의 보육실습 지도교사의 역할과 어린이집의 실습 운영 체계를 돌아보고 보완했다. 2차 실행은 실습지도 과정에서 보육실습 지도교사의 실습지도 역량을 강화하기 위한 실행이 진행되었다. 즉, 1차 실행을 통해 재정립된 보육실습 지도교사의 역할과 어린이집의 실습 운영 체계를 실제 보육실습지도 과정에 적용했다. 둘째, 어린이집 보육실습 지도교사 지원을 위한 실행과정에서 보육실습 지도교사들의 다양한 변화가 나타났다. 보육실습지도에 대한 마음가짐이 변화되었고, 보육실습생에 대한 시선이 변화되었다. 그리고 보육실습지도 내용에 대한 인식이 확장되었고, 보육실습 주체로의 변화가 이루어졌다. 결론 본 연구가 질 높은 보육교사를 양성하기 위한 실습지도교사의 역량 강화 방안을 마련하는데 기여할 수 있기를 기대한다.

영문 초록

Objectives The purpose of this study is to identify the difficulties related to practicum guidance faced by childcare practicum guidance teachers in daycare centers, develop and implement support measures, and examine the changes observed in the guidance teachers throughout this process. Methods For this purpose, an action research method was employed, following a cyclical process of planning, implementation and observation, reflection, and replanning. The study was conducted from January to November 2023 at daycare center B in Gyeonggi Province, with the participation of two childcare practicum guidance teachers, the director, and the researcher. Based on a shared recognition of difficulties among the participants, support measures were explored, and a cyclical process of first and second implementation was carried out. Results First, the first implementation for supporting childcare practicum guidance teachers focused on the pre-practicum phase. This phase involved reviewing and improving the roles of practicum guidance teachers and the practicum management system in daycare centers. The second implementation aimed to enhance the practicum guidance competencies of the teachers during the practicum process. Specifically, the redefined roles of practicum guidance teachers and the improved practicum management system established in the first implementation were applied to actual practicum guidance. Second, various changes were observed in the practicum guidance teachers throughout the implementation process for supporting childcare practicum guidance teachers. Their mindset toward practicum guidance shifted, and their perspectives on practicum students changed. Additionally, their understanding of practicum guidance content expanded, and they underwent a transformation into active agents of the practicum process. Conclusions It is hoped that this study will contribute to the preparation of measures to strengthen the capabilities of practicum guidance teachers to cultivate high-quality childcare teachers.
