청소년이 지각한 부모-자녀 간 의사소통이 자해 행동에 미치는 영향: 인지적 정서 조절의 매개효과를 중심으로

국문 초록

목적 본 연구는 청소년이 지각한 부모-자녀 간 의사소통과 자해 행동의 관계에서 인지적 정서 조절의 매개효과를 살펴보는 것에 목적을 둔다. 방법 경상남도 소재 중, 고등학생 336명을 대상으로 2021년 9월 1일부터 2021년 9월 14일까지 약 2주간 온라인 자기 보고식 설문을 통해 자료를 수집하였고 SPSS 21과 Amos 21을 사용하여 기술통계와 구조모형을 분석하였다. 설문은 약 15-20분 정도 소요되며 연구의 목적과 연구 참여자의 권리에 대한 설명을 읽고 동의한 경우에만 자료를 수집하였다. 결과 모든 변인의 상관관계는 유의하였고 모형적합도와 sobel 검정기준으로 모형을 판별하였다. 그 결과 부분매개모형이 확인되었으며, 청소년이 지각한 부모-자녀 간 의사소통이 자해 행동에 미치는 영향에서 인지적 정서 조절의 매개(간접)효과가 유의한 것으로 나타났다. 결론 청소년들의 자해 행동을 예방 및 개입하기 위해서 함께 부모-자녀 간 의사소통과 인지적 정서 조절을 적용하는 것은 도움이 될 것이다. 또한 본 연구는 청소년들의 자해 행동을 예방 및 개입에 필요한 위험 요인과 보호 요인을 함께 제시함으로써 청소년 및 학부모 교육 및 상담에 필요한 자료의 토대를 제시하였다는 점에서 그 의의가 있다.

영문 초록

Objectives This study aims to verify a structural equation model of the variables related to adolescents’ self harm behavior, parent-child communication, and cognitive emotional regulation. Methods The participants of this study were 336 middle and high school students in Gyeongsangnam-do, collected through an online self-report survey and descriptive statistics and structural models were analyzed using SPSS 21 and Amos 21. The survey took approximately 15-20 minutes, and data was collected only after the participants read and agreed to the explanation about the purpose of the study and their rights as participants. Results All correlations between variables were significant, and the model was assessed using model fit and Sobel test criteria. As a result, a partial mediation model was confirmed, and the mediating (indirect) effect of cognitive emotional regulation in the relationship between parent-child communication perceived by adolescents and self-harm behavior was found to be significant. Conclusions Applying both parent-child communication and cognitive emotional regulation together would be helpful in preventing and intervening in adolescent self-harm behavior. Furthermore, this study is significant in that it provides a foundation for necessary materials for adolescent and parent education and counseling by presenting both risk and protective factors needed for the prevention and intervention of adolescent self-harm behavior.
