외현적, 내현적 자기애가 불안에 미치는 영향: 긍정적 착각의 매개효과

국문 초록

목적 본 연구에서는 대학생을 대상으로 외현적, 내현적 자기애가 불안을 조절하는 데에 영향을 미치는 변인으로 긍정적 착각에서사건통제지각이 매개역할을 하는지 알아보았다. 방법 이를 위하여 경기도 소재 대학생 304명을 대상으로 오프라인 설문 조사를 실시하고, 수집된 자료를 바탕 으로 상관분석 및매개모형 분석을 수행하였다. 본 연구는 외현적, 내현적 자기애와 특성 불안 간의 사건 통제지각의 매개효과를 검증하고자 하였다. 연구 설계 단계에서부터 외현적, 내현적 자기애와 특성 불안 간의 직접효과를 이론적으로 고려하여, 사건 통제지각이 매개하는 부분매개모형으로 설정하였다. 결과 연구 결과, 외현적 자기애, 현실통제지각(긍정사건), 특성 불안의 매개모형에서 현실통제지각(긍정사건)이 외현적 자기애와특성 불안을 부분매개하고 있음을 확인하였다. 또한, 외현적 자기애, 비현실통제지각(긍정사건), 특성 불안의 매개모형에서는 매개효과가 나타나지 않아, 비현실통제지각(긍정사건)은 특성 불안에 영향을 미치지 않음이 확인되었다. 결론 이를 통해, 본 연구에서는 외현적 자기애가 자존감을 보호하기 위한 회피전략으로 긍정적 착각을 사용하지만, 왜곡된 인지로는특성 불안을 낮추지 못한다는 것을 검증함으로써 외현적 자기애의 부적응적 인지전략 기제에 대한 시사점을 제시한다.

영문 초록

Objectives The purpose of this study was to investigate the mediating effects of positive illusion through anxiety on the Grandiose and Vulnerable Narcissism among college students. Methods The subjects of the study were 304 university students over the age of 18 residing in Gyeonggi. Data were collected through an offline questionnaire consisting of the Covert Narcissism Scale, Narcissistic Personality Inventory, Positive Illusion Scale, and State-Trait Anxiety Inventory. The collected data were analyzed using SPSS 25.0 and SPSS Macro. The study aimed to verify the mediating effect of perceived event controllability on the rela tionship between grandiose and vulnerable narcissism and trait anxiety. Based on theoretical considerations, a partial mediation model was established, assuming direct effects between narcissism types and trait anxiety. Results This study examined the effects of realistic and unrealistic perception of controllability on people who are Grandiose and Vulnerable Narcissism. This study have two main findings. First, Grandiose Narcissism directly in fluences anxiety through realistic perception of controllability. But, Second, Grandiose Narcissism doesn't directlly influence anxiety through unrealistic perception of controllability. The results of this study are expected to help en gage in counseling sessions for people experiencing anxiety. Conclusions The findings of this study suggest that the realistic and unrealistic perceptions of controllability of Grandiose and Vulnerable Narcissism affects anxiety differently when examining the effects of positive illusion. In addition, the main findings of this study were discussed within the limitations of previous studies in context.
