키워드 네트워크 분석을 활용한 국내외 작업기억 연구 동향 비교

국문 초록

목적 본 연구의 목적은 키워드 네트워크 분석을 통해 국내외 작업기억 연구의 동향을 비교하는 데 있다. 방법 이를 위해 국내외 주요 온라인 논문 사이트를 활용해 자료를 수집하고, 전처리 및 키워드 정제과정을 거쳐 2000년부터 2023 년까지 국내외 작업기억 학술지 논문에서 등장한 키워드의 빈도를 비교·분석하였다. 또한 연구 시기를 전기(2000~2011)와 후기(2012~2023)로 나누어 국내외 작업기억 연구의 핵심 키워드 변화를 파악하기 위한 중심성 분석을 실시하였다. 결과 첫째, 키워드별 등장논문 수를 기준으로 상위 10개 키워드를 살펴본 결과 국내외에서 공통으로 ‘능력(ability)’, ‘아동(children)’, ‘장애(impairment)’, ‘주의(attention)’ 등이 포함되는 것으로 나타났고, 국내에서는 ‘언어’와 ‘학습’이 국외에서는‘brain’과 ‘adult’가 포함되는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, ‘능력’, ‘수행’, ‘학습’은 국내 작업기억 연구에서 가장 두드러진 핵심 키워드였고, 연구 후기에는 ‘아동’, ‘연령’, ‘언어’에 대한 관심이 두드러졌다. 셋째, ‘control’은 국외 작업기억 연구에서 가장 두드러진 핵심키워드였으며, 연구 후기에는 뇌 신경이나 손상 등의 관심이 감소한 것으로 나타났다. 넷째, 연구 후기에 국내에서는 ‘학교’, ‘학생’, ‘훈련’, ‘변화’ 등이, 국외에서는 ‘children’, ‘age’, ‘adult’ 등이 핵심 키워드로 새롭게 등장하였다. 결론 이를 토대로 앞으로의 작업기억 연구가 대상의 연령을 확대하고 학교와 학교 이외의 환경에서 나타나는 학습 경험을 주제로수행되기를 기대해 본다.

영문 초록

Objectives The purpose of this study is to compare trends in domestic and international working memory research. Methods This study examined keywords that appeared in academic papers from 2000 to 2023, divided the period into the early(2000-2011) and late(2012-2023) periods, and conducted a centrality analysis to identify changes in core keywords in domestic and international working memory research. Results First, when examining the top 10 words in terms of the number of papers appearing by keyword, it was found that ‘ability’, ‘children’, ‘impairment’, and ‘attention’ were commonly included in both Korea and overseas, while ‘language’ and ‘learning’ were included in Korea and ‘brain’ and ‘adult’ were included overseas. Second, the most prominent core keywords in the early and late stages of Korea working memory research were ‘ability’, ‘performance’, and ‘learning’, while more prominent interests in ‘children’, ‘age’, and ‘language’ were observed in the later stages of research. Third, the most prominent keyword in the early and late stages of overseas working memory research was ‘control’, and interest in brain neural-based keywords decreased in the later stages of the research. Fourth, in Korea, ‘school’, ‘student’, ‘training’, and ‘change’ appeared as new core keywords in the later part of the study, while overseas, ‘children’, ‘age’, and ‘adult’ appeared as new core keywords. Conclusions Based on the results of this study, we hope that future working memory research will expand the age of the subjects and focus on learning experiences that occur in school and out-of-school environments.
