대인관계 단절에 의한 상실 경험이 자살 사고에 미치는 영향: 좌절된 대인관계 욕구와 단절 및 거절 도식의 순차적 매개효과와 삶의 이유의 조절효과를 중심으로

국문 초록

목적 본 연구는 대인관계 단절로 인한 상실 경험이 자살 사고에 미치는 영향을 분석하고, 좌절된 대인관계 욕구와 단절 및 거절 도식이 이 관계를 어떻게 매개하는지 탐구하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 또한, 삶의 이유가 이러한 관계에서 조절 효과를 나타내는지 검증하여 자살 사고를 호소하는 내담자들에 대한 상담 및 치료적 개입의 방향성을 제시하고자 한다. 방법 연구는 20세 이상 65세 미만의 일반 성인 293명을 대상으로 온라인 설문 조사를 통해 진행되었다. 설문 도구로는 대인관계 단절에 의한 상실 경험, 좌절된 대인관계 욕구, 단절 및 거절 도식, 자살 사고, 그리고 삶의 이유를 측정하는 척도를 사용하였다. 수집된 데이터는 SPSS 및 PROCESS macro를 활용하여 상관관계 및 매개효과, 조절효과를 분석하였다. 결과 분석 결과, 대인관계 단절로 인한 상실 경험은 자살 사고에 유의미한 영향을 미치며, 좌절된 대인관계 욕구와 단절 및 거절 도식이 이 관계를 순차적으로 매개하는 것으로 나타났다. 특히, 단절 및 거절 도식은 자살 사고를 강하게 예측하는 요인으로 확인되었으며, 삶의 이유는 자살 사고를 억제하는 중요한 보호 요인으로 작용하였다. 결론 대인관계 단절 경험이 자살 사고에 미치는 영향에서 좌절된 대인관계 욕구와 단절 및 거절 도식은 중요한 매개 요인으로 작용하며, 삶의 이유는 이러한 관계를 조절하는 보호 요인으로 확인되었다. 이러한 결과는 자살 위험을 줄이기 위한 상담 및 치료적 개입에서 대인관계 단절과 관련된 심리적 메커니즘을 이해하고, 이를 기반으로 한 개입이 필요함을 시사한다.

영문 초록

Objectives The purpose of this study is to analyze the impact of the experience of loss due to interpersonal relationship rupture on suicidal ideation, and to explore how frustrated interpersonal needs and the disruption and rejection schema mediate this relationship. Additionally, the study aims to verify whether the sense of life acts as a moderating factor in this relationship, providing direction for counseling and therapeutic interventions for clients experiencing suicidal ideation. Methods The study was conducted through an online survey with 293 general adults aged between 20 and 65. The survey measured experiences of loss due to interpersonal relationship rupture, frustrated interpersonal needs, disruption and rejection schemas, suicidal ideation, and the sense of life. The collected data were analyzed for correlations, mediation effects, and moderation effects using SPSS and the PROCESS macro. Results The analysis revealed that experiences of loss due to interpersonal relationship rupture had a significant impact on suicidal ideation, with frustrated interpersonal needs and disruption and rejection schemas sequentially mediating this relationship. In particular, the disruption and rejection schema was identified as a strong predictor of suicidal ideation, while the sense of life was found to be a crucial protective factor that suppressed suicidal thoughts. Conclusions Frustrated interpersonal needs and disruption and rejection schemas play important mediating roles in the relationship between interpersonal relationship rupture and suicidal ideation. The sense of life acts as a moderating protective factor in this process. These findings suggest that counseling and therapeutic interventions aimed at reducing suicide risk should focus on understanding the psychological mechanisms related to interpersonal relationship ruptures, and interventions based on this understanding are needed.
