그림책 관련 문헌연구 동향 분석: 2003년부터 2023년까지 발간된 국내 학술지 중심으로

국문 초록

목적 본 연구에서는 그림책 관련 문헌연구 동향을 살펴봄으로써 추후 그림책 관련 문헌연구 분야의 체계적 발전을 위한 기초 자료를 제공하는데 목적을 두었다. 방법 이를 위하여 2003년부터 2023년까지 국내에서 수행된 그림책 관련 문헌연구 중 5개의 등재 학술지에 게재된 총 225편을 대상으로 연구시기별, 연구주제별, 연구대상별 동향을 분석하였다. 결과 연구시기별로는 그림책 관련 문헌연구 수행이 2006년부터 꾸준히 증가하였으며 2018년부터 2020년 사이에는 다소 감소세를 보이지만 2021년부터 다시 증가하는 추세이다. 연구주제별로는 그림책 장르의 본질 중심 연구가 맥락 중심 연구보다 훨씬 많은 비중을 차지하고 있다. 연구대상별로는 그림책 관련 문헌연구 중 국내 작가 중에는 권윤덕 작가를 가장 많이 분석하였으며, 국외 작가 중에는 앤서니 브라운 작가를 가장 많이 분석하였다. 국내 작품 중에는 ｢만희네 집｣을 가장 많이 분석하였으며, 국외 작품 중에는｢고릴라｣, ｢돼지책｣을 가장 많이 분석하였다. 결론 이러한 결과를 바탕으로 향후 그림책 관련 문헌연구 분야의 연구 발전을 위해 필요한 연구방향 및 교육적 시사점을 제시하였다.

영문 초록

Objectives The purpose of this study is to examine research trends related to picturebook literature in order to provide foundational data for the systematic development of future research in the field of picturebook literature. Methods To this end, a total of 225 academic journal articles on picturebook literature published in Korea from 2003 to 2023 were analyzed based on trends by research period, research topics, and research subjects. Results The research results are as follows. Research on picturebook literature steadily increased since 2006, with a slight decline from 2018 to 2020, followed by a resurgence from 2021 onwards. In terms of research topics, studies focusing on the essence of the picturebook genre significantly outnumbered those focusing on contextual aspects. Regarding research subjects, among Korean authors, Kwon, Yoon-Duk was the most frequently analyzed, while Anthony Browne was the most frequently analyzed among international authors. Among Korea works, “Manhee’s House” was the most analyzed, while “Gorilla” and “The Piggybook” were the most analyzed among international works. Conclusions Based on these results, the study suggests future research directions and educational implications necessary for the further development of the field of picturebook literature research.
