영아교사의 자기자비와 완벽주의 성향이 사회적 교수효능감에 미치는 영향

국문 초록

목적 본 연구는 영아교사의 자기자비와 완벽주의 성향, 사회적 교수효능감의 관계를 탐색하고, 이를 통해 영아교사의 자기자비와 완벽주의 성향이 사회적 교수효능감에 미치는 영향을 살펴보고자 하였다. 방법 이를 위해 강원특별자치도 소재 어린이집에 근무 중인 영아교사 240명을 목적 표집으로 조사하였다. 수집된 자료는 SPSS 23.0을 사용하여 기술통계, 독립표본 t-test와 일원변량분석(ANOVA), Welch’s ANOVA, Pearson의 적률상관계수 분석, 단계적 회귀분석을 실시하였다. 결과 연구 결과, 45세 이상, 경력 15년 이상, 연수 경험이 있는 교사는 자기자비와 사회적 교수효능감이 유의미하게 높은 것으로 나타났다. 또한, 영아교사의 사회적 교수효능감은 자기자비와 정적 상관관계를 보이는 반면, 완벽주의 성향과는 부적 상관관계를 보였다. 이와 더불어, 자기자비는 완벽주의 성향과도 부적 상관관계가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 영아교사의 자기자비와 완벽주의 성향은 사회적 교수효능감에 유의미한 영향을 미쳤다. 자기자비의 하위요인 중에서는 마음챙김이 높고 자기고립이 낮을수록 사회적 교수효능감에 유의미한 정적 예측 변인으로 나타났다. 반면, 완벽주의 성향의 하위 요인 중 자기지향 완벽주의는 사회적 교수효능감을 높이는데 기여했으나, 타인지향 완벽주의는 사회적 교수효능감을 낮추는 부정적 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 결론 이러한 결과를 토대로, 영아교사의 자기자비를 증진하고 완벽주의 성향의 부정적 영향을 완화하는 프로그램 개발의 필요성을 제안하며, 이를 통해 교사의 심리적 안정과 교육적 효과성을 높이고 영아교육의 질적 향상에 기여할 수 있음을 강조한다.

영문 초록

Objectives This study aimed to explore the relationship between self-compassion and perfectionism, and social teaching efficacy in early childhood teachers, and to examine how self-compassion and perfectionism among early childhood teachers affect their social teaching efficacy. Methods For this purpose, a purposive sampling was conducted with 240 early childhood teachers working in daycare centers located in Gangwon Special Self-Governing Province. The data collected were analysed using SPSS 23.0, including descriptive statistics, independent sample t-test, one-way analysis of variance(ANOVA), Welch's ANOVA, Pearson's correlation coefficient analysis, and stepwise regression. Results The results of the study indicated that teachers aged 45 and over, with 15 or more years of experience, demonstrated significantly higher levels of self-efficacy and social teaching efficacy. Additionally, the social teaching efficacy of early childhood teachers exhibited a positive correlation with self-efficacy, while demonstrating an inverse correlation with perfectionism. Furthermore, self-compassion was also found to have a negative correlation with perfectionism. The self-compassion and perfectionism of early childhood teachers had a significant impact on social teaching efficacy. Among the subfactors of self-compassion, heightened levels of mindfulness and diminished levels of self-isolation emerged as significant static predictors of social teaching efficacy. In contrast, among the subfactors of perfectionism, self-oriented perfectionism contributed to an increase in social teaching efficacy, whereas other-oriented perfectionism was found to exert a negative impact, thereby reducing social teaching efficacy. Conclusions In consideration of the results obtained, it is suggested that there is a necessity for the creation of a programme that will promote self-compassion in early childhood teachers and mitigate the negative effects of perfectionism. It is emphasized that this will contribute to improving the psychological stability and educational effectiveness of teachers and, and lead to improvements in the quality of early childhood education.
