대학 강의우수교원의 수업 준비와 운영: 네트워크 시각화와 체제적 교수 설계 분석

국문 초록

목적 본 연구는 강의우수교원들의 교수 설계와 교수법, 학생과의 상호작용 방식을 분석하고 그 특징을 탐구하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 또한, Dick과 Carey의 체제적 교수 설계 모형을 활용하여 강의우수교원들의 수업 설계 과정에서 나타나는 특징을 탐색하였다. 방법 수도권 A대학교 강의우수교원을 대상으로 한 인터뷰 데이터를 기반으로 질적 분석, 키워드 분석, Gephi 네트워크 시각화를 활용하여 데이터를 분석하였다. 분석 과정에서 전공과 교양 교수법의 차이, 인문사회와 STEAM 계열 간 교수법의 차이를 비교하고, 교수 설계 단계별 특징을 Dick과 Carey 모형을 통해 검토하였다. 결과 강의우수교원들은 방학 중 강의평가 피드백을 활용하여 수업 운영 방향을 설정하고, 최신 자료와 사례를 준비하는 데 중점을 두고 있었다. 특히, 전공⋅교양 교수 모두 ‘방학’과 ‘사례’를 중요한 키워드로 언급하였으며, 이는 수업 준비에서 공통적으로 고려되는 요소임을 보여준다. 반면, 인문사회와 STEAM 계열 간에는 공통 키워드가 발견되지 않았으나, 두 계열 모두 학생들에게 제공하는 피드백의 중요성을 강조하였다. 상호작용 방식에서도 교수자들은 온⋅오프라인 채널을 적극 활용하여 학생들과의 소통을 강화하는 전략을 활용하고 있었다. 또한, Dick과 Carey 모형을 적용한 분석에서는 교수자들이 학생 의견을 반영하여 교수 설계를 체계적이고 역동적으로 운영하고 있음을 확인할 수 있었다. 결론 본 연구는 강의우수교원들의 교수 설계 및 교수법을 체계적으로 분석하여 대학 강의 운영 개선을 위한 시사점을 제공하였다. 특히, 수업 준비 과정에서 강의평가 피드백을 활용하는 방식과 교수법의 차이를 구조적으로 탐색함으로써, 대학 교수자들에게 실질적인 가이드라인을 제시하는 데 기여한다. 향후 연구에서는 보다 다양한 교수자의 수업 운영 방식과 교수 설계 전략을 비교하여 연구의 일반화를 도모할 필요가 있다.

영문 초록

Objectives This study aims to analyze the instructional design, teaching methods, and interaction strategies of outstanding university instructors. As interest in improving the quality of university education increases, this research systematically examines the key factors considered in lesson preparation, instructional strategies, and interaction beyond the classroom. Additionally, the study explores the characteristics of instructional design using Dick and Carey’s systematic instructional design model. Methods Interview data were collected from award-winning instructors at a university in the metropolitan area. Using qualitative analysis, keyword analysis, and Gephi network visualization, the study compares differences in teaching practices between general and major-specific courses and across humanities and STEAM disciplines. Furthermore, the instructional design process was analyzed based on Dick and Carey’s model to identify key teaching strategies at each stage. Results The findings indicate that outstanding instructors utilize course evaluation feedback during semester breaks to determine their instructional direction and prepare up-to-date materials and illustrative examples. Both general and major-specific instructors emphasized “breaks” and “examples” as essential factors in lesson preparation. However, no shared keywords were identified between humanities and STEAM disciplines, though both groups emphasized the importance of providing student feedback as a key teaching strategy. Additionally, instructors actively utilized various online and offline communication channels to enhance interaction with students. Analysis based on Dick and Carey’s model revealed that instructors systematically and dynamically incorporate student feedback into their instructional design and course management. Conclusions This study provides valuable insights into the structured instructional design and teaching methods of outstanding university instructors. By examining how instructors utilize feedback and prepare lessons, this research offers practical guidelines for improving university teaching practices. Future studies should expand the sample size to generalize findings and further explore diverse instructional design strategies across various academic disciplines.
