국문 초록

목적 본 연구에서는 2022 개정 교육과정에 따른 지역 특성을 반영한 지역 교육과정 발전 방향을 탐색하기 위해 교사와 교육과정 전문가들의 의견조사와 심층 면담을 통해 분석하였다. 방법 초⋅중등학교 교사 82명과 교육과정 전문가 17명을 대상으로 의견조사와 심층 면담을 진행하였다. 의견조사 내용은 지역 교육과정의 구성 방향, 학교 교육과정 설계⋅운영 및 지원, 심층 면담 질문은 지역 교육과정의 발전 방향, 지역 교육과정 개정 과정과 내용 등으로 구성하였다. 결과 2022 개정 교육과정에 따른 지역 교육과정 발전 방향에 대한 교사와 전문가의 인식 분석 결과, 크게 지역 교육과정의 발전 방향, 지역 교육과정의 개정 과정과 총론 구성 내용 등으로 나누어 의견이 파악되었다. 이를 통해 지역 특성을 반영한 지역 교육과정 개정 방향에 대한 시사점을 확인하였다. 결론 첫째, 국가 수준 교육과정을 준용하며 지역의 고유한 특성을 반영한 지역 교육과정이 필요하다. 둘째, 지역 교육과정 개정 시, 교육공동체의 참여를 보장하여 의견을 수렴하고 반영한다. 셋째, 2022 개정 교육과정이 현장에 안착될 수 있도록 지역 교육청의 지원 방안이 교육과정에 제시되어야 한다. 특히 지역별 인프라 격차로 인해 교육적 경험 차이가 발생하지 않도록 한다.

영문 초록

Objectives This study aims to explore the development direction of the regional curriculum that reflects local characteristics under the 2022 Revised National Curriculum. To achieve this research objective, opinion surveys and in-depth interviews were conducted and analyzed with teachers and curriculum experts. Methods To this end, opinion surveys and in-depth interviews were conducted with 82 elementary and secondary school teachers and 17 curriculum experts. The survey focused on the composition of the regional curriculum, the design and implementation of school curricula, and necessary support measures. In-depth interview questions explored the development direction of the regional curriculum, the revision process, and the contents of the general guidelines. Results Analysis of teachers' and experts' perceptions regarding the development direction of regional curricula under the 2022 Revised National Curriculum revealed three key themes: the direction of regional curriculum development, the process of curriculum revision, and the structure of the general guidelines. These findings provide implications for revising regional curricula to better reflect local characteristics. Conclusions First, a regional curriculum should be designed to align with the national-level curriculum while incorporating unique local characteristics. Second, during the revision of regional curricula, the participation of the educational community should be ensured to gather and reflect diverse opinions. Third, to facilitate the effective implementation of the 2022 Revised National Curriculum in schools, regional education offices should provide appropriate support strategies within the curriculum framework. In particular, efforts should be made to minimize educational disparities caused by regional infrastructure differences.
