국문 초록

목적 본 연구에서는 영아기 자녀를 둔 맞벌이 부모의 양육스트레스가 부모의 스마트폰 과의존, 결혼만족도, 양육행동에 영향을 미치는 자기-상대방효과를 검증하고, 어머니와 아버지의 양육스트레스가 스마트폰 과의존, 결혼만족도의 순차 매개를 통해 양육행동에 영향을 미치는지 확인하였다. 방법 한국 영유아 교육⋅보육 패널 1차년도(2022년) 자료의 826쌍에 기초하여 자기-상대방 상호의존모형을 적용하였다. 자기-상대방 효과 크기 비교를 위해 차이검증을 사용했으며, 양육스트레스, 스마트폰 과의존, 결혼만족도, 양육행동 간 관련성 이해를 위해 구조방정식 분석 방법을 사용하였다. 결과 첫째, 어머니와 아버지 모두 양육스트레스가 결혼만족도에 부적 영향을 미치는 자기 및 상대방효과가 있었다. 어머니와 아버지 모두 양육스트레스가 긍정적 양육행동에 부적 영향을 미치는 자기효과, 아버지의 양육스트레스는 어머니의 긍정적 양육행동에 부적 상대방효과가 있었다. 아버지의 스마트폰 과의존은 자신의 결혼만족도와 긍정적 양육행동에 부적 자기효과가 있었다. 아버지의 결혼만족도가 긍정적 양육행동에 대한 정적 자기효과, 어머니의 결혼만족도가 긍정적 양육행동에 미치는 정적 상대방효과가 확인되었다. 자기효과와 상대방효과 크기는 변인에 따라 차별적인 모습을 보였다. 둘째, 어머니와 아버지 양육스트레스는 어머니 결혼만족도, 아버지 스마트폰 과의존을 매개로 아버지의 긍정적 양육행동에 부적 영향을 미쳤다. 결론 어머니와 아버지의 특성은 상호영향을 받을 수 있는 의존적 관계이며, 특히 아버지의 긍정적 양육행동을 높이기 위해서는 어머니와 아버지의 특성을 함께 고려한 접근이 필요함을 시사한다.

영문 초록

Objectives This study examined the actor effects and the partner effects of parental stress of of dual-earner couples on parent's smartphone overdependence, marital satisfaction and parenting behavior. The study also examined whether parenting stress of mothers and fathers affect parenting behavior through the sequential mediation of smartphone overdependence and marital satisfaction. Methods To analyze the data from 826 married couples from the 1st year (2022) of the Korean Early Childhood Education & Care Panel Study were used to perform the Actor Partner Interdependence Model (APIM). Results The results of this study are as follows. First, both the actor and the partner effects of parental stress on marital satisfaction were negatively significant for both mother and father. The actor effect of both mother and father's parental stress on parenting behavior was negatively significant whereas only the partner effect of father's parental stress on mother's parenting behavior was negatively significant. The actor effect of father's smartphone overdependence on marital satisfaction and parenting behavior was negatively significant. The actor effect of father's marital satisfaction on parenting behavior and the partner effect of mother's marital satisfaction on parenting behavior was positively significant. The magnitudes of actor and the partner effect were varied depend on the variables. Second, both mother's and father's parental stress was negatively significant on father's parenting behavior through mediating mother's marital satisfaction and father's smartphone overdependence. Conclusions The results of this study imply that both mother's and father's characteristics should be considered to enhance the positive father's parenting behavior.
