국문 초록

목적 본 연구는 대학생의 사회부과 완벽주의와 완벽주의적 자기제시 간의 관계에서 내면화된 수치심의 매개효과와 자기자비로 조절된 매개효과를 검증하는 것이다. 방법 이를 위하여 전국의 대학생 199명을 대상으로 편의표집한 자료를 활용하였다. 자료분석을 위해 SPSS 22.0과 Process Macro 4.2를 사용하여 빈도분석, 척도의 신뢰도 검증(Cronbach' a) 및 기술통계분석을 실시하였고, 변인들 간 관계 파악을 위해 Pearson 상관분석을 하였다. 이와 함께 조절된 매개효과는 Hayes(2013)의 Process Macro를 사용하였는데 매개효과 검증은 Model Number 4를 실시하였고, 조절된 매개효과는 Model Number 14를 활용하여 검증하였으며 매개효과와 조절된 매개효과의 통계적 유의성 검증은 부트스트래핑 테스트(Bootstrapping-test) 방법을 적용하였다 결과 첫째, 사회부과 완벽주의, 완벽주의적 자기제시, 내면화된 수치심, 자기자비 각 변인들 간의 상관을 분석한 결과 모든 변인 간의 유의미한 상관을 보였다. 둘째, 내면화된 수치심은 사회부과 완벽주의와 완벽주의적 자기제시의 관계에서 부분매개효과를 보였다. 셋째, 사회부과 완벽주의, 내면화된 수치심, 완벽주의적 자기제시의 관계에서 자기자비의 조절된 매개효과가 검증되었다. 결론 본 연구는 대학생의 사회부과 완벽주의가 내면화된 수치심에 부정적인 영향을 미치고, 여기에 자기자비가 상호작용하여 다시 완벽주의적 자기제시의 영향을 조절하는데, 자기자비의 수준이 낮아질수록 완벽주의적 자기제시의 모습이 더욱 강화되어 부적응적으로 살아가게 된다는 것을 의미한다.

영문 초록

Objectives To verify the mediating effect of internalized shame and the moderated mediating effect of self-compassion in the relationship between socially imposed perfectionism and perfectionistic self-presentation in college students. Methods The analysis of this study was conducted using SPSS 22.0 and Process Macro to conduct descriptive statistical analysis, reliability analysis, correlation analysis, and moderated mediation effect verification. Results First, the results of analyzing the correlations among the variables of socially imposed perfectionism, perfectionistic self-presentation, internalized shame, and self-compassion showed significant correlations among all variables. Second, internalized shame showed a partial mediating effect in the relationship between socially imposed perfectionism and perfectionistic self-presentation. Third, the moderated mediating effect of self-compassion was verified in the relationship between socially imposed perfectionism, internalized shame, and perfectionistic self-presentation. Conclusions This study shows that college students' socially imposed perfectionism has a negative effect on internalized shame, and self-compassion interacts with this to moderate the effect of perfectionistic self-presentation, which means that the lower the level of self-compassion, the more the perfectionistic self-presentation is strengthened, leading to maladaptive living.
