간호학과 만학도의 진로몰입과 자기주도학습능력: 강점인식의 매개효과

국문 초록

목적 본 연구는 간호학과 만학도를 대상으로 진로몰입과 자기주도학습능력의 관계에서 강점인식의 매개효과를 규명하여, 이들의 자기주도학습능력을 증진시키기 위한 방안을 마련하는데 기초자료를 제시하고자 수행되었다. 방법 연구대상으로 간호학과 만학도 162명을 선정하였으며, 자료 분석은 기술통계, t-test, ANOVA, Pearson 상관분석 및 Baron과 Kenny의 3단계 매개 회귀분석을 이용하였고, Sobel test로 검증하였다. 결과 강점인식은 진로몰입과 자기주도학습능력 사이에서 부분 매개효과를 나타냈으며(Z=3.04, p<.001), 진로몰입(β=.36, p<.001)과 강점인식(β=.26, p=.001) 수준이 높을수록 자기주도학습능력 수준이 높아지며, 자기주도학습능력을 설명하는 설명력은 29%이었다. 결론 간호학과 만학도의 자기주도학습능력을 고취하기 위해서는 진로에 대한 확신 뿐만 아니라 개인의 강점을 인식하는 태도를 동시에 증진 시킬 필요가 있음을 시사한다.

영문 초록

Objectives This study aimed to investigate the mediating effect of strengths knowledge in the relationship between career commitment and self-directed learning ability for nursing department later learner's students. Methods The participants of this study were 162 later learner's students. Data were descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA, Pearson correlation analysis. Also mediation analysis was performed according to the Baron and Kenny method and Sobel test. Results The strengths knowledge showed a partial mediating effect between the career commitment and the self-directed learning ability(Z=3.04, p<.001). The higher the career commitment(β=.36, p<.001) and strengths knowledge(β=.26, p=.001), the higher the level of self-directed learning ability, and the explanatory power to explain self-directed learning ability was 29%. Conclusions Therefore, in order to improve the self-directed learning ability of later learner's students, it suggests that it is necessary to simultaneously enhance the attitude of recognize individuals strengths as well as confidence in careers.
