국문 초록

본 연구는 특수교사가 경험한 교장의 진정성 리더십의 의미 구조를 분석하는 데 목적을 두었다. 이를 위해 특수학교 및 일반학교의 특수학급에 근무하는 특수교사 12명을 의도적 표집과 눈덩이 표집 방법을 활용하여 최종 선정 후, 비대면 또는 대면 심층 면담을 실시하였다. 수집된 질적 자료는 연구 참여자의 살아있는 공통적인 경험 및 그 특징과 의미 분석에 중점을 두는 Colaizzi의 현상학적 연구 방법을 활용하여 분석하였다. 분석 결과, 특수교사가 경험한 교장의 진정성 리더십의 유의미한 진술은 251개가 추출되었으며, 본 연구는 이 진술들을 분류 및 통합하여 의미를 형성하고, 주제화한 뒤 ① 교장의 인격적 태도와 내면 성찰의 진정성 리더십, ② 업무 관계의 진정성 리더십, ③ 일상 관계에서의 진정성 리더십, ④ 특수교육 지원에서의 진정성 리더십 등 네 가지 주제묶음으로 구조화하고, 마지막으로 본질적 의미 구조를 도식화하여 제시하였다. 본 연구는 이와 같은 분석 결과를 바탕으로 시사점과 함께 연구의 한계와 후속 연구를 제언하였다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to analyze the meaning structure of principals' authentic leadership as experienced by special education teachers. To this end, 12 special education teachers working in special schools and special classes within general schools were selected using purposive sampling and snowballing. In-depth interviews were conducted with research participants either face-to-face or non-face-to-face. The collected qualitative data were analyzed using Colaizzi’s phenomenological research method, which focuses on the lived and common experiences of the research participants and the analysis of their features and meanings. As a result of the analysis, 251 significant statements of principals' authentic leadership as experienced by special education teachers were extracted. This study classified and integrated these statements to form meaning, assigned themes, and finally grouped themes. The findings revealed that principals' authentic leadership could be structured into four domains: authentic leadership in principal’s personal attitudes and inner reflection, authentic leadership in work relationships, authentic leadership in daily relationships, and authentic leadership in special education support. Based on these results, this study suggested implications and recommendations for principals' authentic leadership in special education.
