국문 초록

최근 중국의 Z세대에서 급속히 확산되고 있는 ‘국조(國潮)’ 현상은 중국 전통문화와 현대 디자인이 융합된 새로운 소비트렌드로, 중국의 문화적 정체성과 민족적 자긍심의 회복을 의미하며, 현재 주류 소비 미학을 주도하고 있다. 본 연구는 이와 같은 사회문화적 배경 속에서 중국의 민족복식문화 및 불교 예술 분야에서 폭넓게 사용되어 온 연화문양을 연구대상으로 삼아, 현대 주얼리 디자인에서 재맥락화될 수 있는 가능성을 탐색하였다. 그리고 본 연구의 주제로 선정한 연화문양의 역사적 전개, 형태적 특징, 문화적 상징성에 대한 고찰을 이론적 기반으로, Rhino와 Keyshot 프로그램을 활용하여 연화문양의 디자인 재구성을 진행하였다. 디자인 재구성은 반지 3종, 목걸이 1종, 팔찌 2종, 귀걸이 2쌍으로 총 8종의 연화문양 주얼리를 디자인하였다. 본 연구의 목적은 중국 전통문화의 현대적 구현 방식을 모색하고, 디자인 실천을 통해 중국 문화 정체성과 문화예술에 대한 감성적 가치가 반영된 기초자료로써 사용되는데 있다.

영문 초록

The phenomenon of 'Guochao(national tide)', which is rapidly spreading in China's Generation Z recently, is a new consumption trend that combines traditional Chinese culture and modern design, meaning the restoration of China's cultural identity and national pride, and is currently leading the mainstream consumption aesthetics. In this socio-cultural background, this study explored the possibility of being recontextualized in modern jewelry design by targeting the lotus culture that has been widely used in the field of Chinese national clothing culture and Buddhist art. And based on the theoretical consideration of the historical development, morphological characteristics, and cultural symbolism of the lotus pattern selected as the subject of this study, the design reconstruction of the lotus pattern was carried out using the Rhino and Keyshot programs. For the design reconstruction, a total of 8 types of lotus pattern jewelry were designed with 3 types of rings, 1 type of necklace, 2 types of bracelets, and 2 pairs of earrings. The purpose of this study is to explore a modern implementation method of traditional Chinese culture and to be used as basic data reflecting the emotional value of Chinese cultural identity and culture and art through design practice.
