국문 초록

본 논문은 기하학 공간과 미스 반데 로에(Mies van der rohe) 건축디자인을 바탕으로 기하학적 공간 특성을 도출하고 이러한 공간이 미스 반데 로에(Mies van der rohe)건축에서 어떻게 나타나는지 분석하는 논문이다. 건축에서 나타나는 기하학적 공간 특성을 C.I.A.M.(근대건축 국제회의) 이후 전기 대표 건축물을 중심으로 분석하고, 그 결과를 도출하는 것이 목적이다. 본 연구는 C.I.A.M. 이후 변화되는 미스 반데 로에(Mies van der rohe) 건축물을 기준으로 하여 사례를 분석한다. 분석의 기준은 기하학의 순수도형을 통하여 도출하고, 상징적, 관계적, 위계적 3가지 기하학적 공간 특성으로 분석한다. 그 결과 공간의 기하학적 상징은 기하학 순수도형의 도출과 도형의 반복적인 형태를 통하여 주로 나타나고, 반복적이고 단순한 형태는 상징적 공간을 더 강조하여 나타낸다. 공간의 기하학적 관계는 건축의 수평적 평면공간에서 흐름적 연결로 주로 나타나며, 공간의 연결은 동선의 흐름으로 발전되어 나타난다. 공간의 기하학적 위계는 공간의 수직적 공간의 분리를 통하여 주로 나타나며, 공간의 분리는 수직적 코어를 중심으로 나타나고, 계열적 공간은 계층적 배치를 통하여 나타난다. 이러한 공간 특성은 기하학의 순수도형을 통하여 나타난 것이고, 본질적 공간을 계획하는 근본이 된다. 이처럼, 본질적 공간을 찾고 형태적 원형을 지키는 것은 미래의 건축 형태 발전에도 중요한 역할을 한다. 따라서, 앞으로 본 연구 논문을 시작으로 하여 건축공간의 본질을 찾을 수 있길 기대한다.

영문 초록

This paper derives geometric space characteristics based on geometric space and Mies van der Rohe's architectural design, and analyzes how such space appears in Mies van der Rohe's architecture. The purpose is to analyze geometric space characteristics in architecture and derive the results by focusing on representative early buildings after C.I.A.M. (International Competition for Modern Architecture). This study analyzes cases based on Mies van der Rohe's buildings that changed after C.I.A.M. The analysis criteria were derived through geometric pure figures, and analyzed with three geometric space characteristics: symbolic, relational, and hierarchical. As a result, the geometric symbol of space was mainly expressed through the derivation of geometric pure figures and the repetitive forms of figures, and the repetitive and simple forms further emphasize the symbolic space. The geometric relationship of space is mainly expressed as a flowing connection in the horizontal plane space of architecture, and the connection of space is developed and expressed as the flow of moving lines. The geometric hierarchy of space is mainly expressed through the vertical separation of space, and the separation of space is centered on the vertical core, and the serial space is expressed through the hierarchical arrangement. These spatial characteristics are expressed through geometric pure shapes and become the basis for planning essential space. Finding such essential space and maintaining formal originality also plays an important role in the development of future architectural forms. Therefore, starting with this study, we aim to find the essence of architectural space.
