영문 초록

The anatomical analysis of body is general, but its sculptural expression is unique. For this reason, the sculpture of human body can be said to be a harmony of generality and uniqueness, or spirit and body. Have a complementary relation, the anatomical analysis and sculptural expression of legs are directed towards the plasticity of human body. Of human statues, arms lead plastic change of the upper body, whereas legs maintain the whole plasticity of the lower body and become its starting point. The geometrical structure of legs is important in creating human statues because it enables legs to move after the change of pose and plays a role of integration plastic changes. Also, the measurement of leg` length and modeling rule embody the structure, shape and possibility of movement of legs in relation to the whole body, which let sculptors able to make their unique interpretation and expression of legs. The plastic role of legs of human statues is determined with the relation between other body parts and whole body, and the extent of expression of legs also depends on it.
