유보통합의 필요성에 관한 보육교사의 인식 연구

국문 초록

목적 본 연구에서는 유치원과 어린이집 통합(유보통합)의 필요성에 관해 보육교사가 인식하는 유치원과 어린이집 기관의 차이 인식, 이원적 체제 유지, 유보통합의 효과성과 필요성 간의 관계를 조사하여 유보통합 관련 기초자료를 제공하고자 한다. 방법 이를 위하여 서울, 경기 지역에 소재하는 어린이집에서 근무하고 있는 보육교사를 대상으로 온라인을 통해 설문조사를 실시하였고, 그중 성실하게 응답된 자료 256부를 조사대상으로 선정하여 유보통합의 필요성에 관한 보육교사의 인식 결과를 분석하였다. 결과 첫째, 보육교사의 유치원과 어린이집의 차이에 대해 두 시설을 관리하는 행정 기관의 차이를 가장 크게 인식하였다. 둘째, 보육교사의 유치원과 어린이집을 현행대로 구분유지에 대해 학부모들은 유치원과 어린이집에 대한 필요가 있기에 그 필요에 따라 적절한 기관을 선택할 수 있어야 한다는 인식이 가장 높았다. 셋째, 보육교사의 유치원과 어린이집 통합의 효과성에 대해 유보통합은 유치원과 어린이집에 공평한 재정지원을 가능하다는 것이 가장 높은 효과를 인식하였다. 넷째, 보육교사의 유치원과 어린이집 통합의 필요성에 대한 인식에 대해 전반적으로 긍정적인 인식을 갖고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 결론 본 연구의 결과는 보육교사의 유보통합 효과성에 대한 인식이 유보통합의 필요성 인식에 가장 큰 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났고, 유보통합의 효과성을 긍정적으로 인식할수록 유보통합의 필요성에 대한 인식이 높아지고, 유치원과 어린이집 기관의 이원적 체계유지의 필요성을 낮게 인식할수록 유보통합의 필요성에 대한 인식이 높아지는 것으로 나타났다. 현재 유보통합을 진행하는 시점에서 영유아의 권리를 보장하고 교육 및 보육서비스의 질 향상을 위한 유보통합 관련 기초자료로 사용될 수 있다.

영문 초록

Objectives This study aims to provide basic data related to Integration of Early Childhood Education and Care by examining the relationship between kindergarten and daycare center institutions' perception of differences, maintenance of a dual system, and the effectiveness and necessity of Integration of Early Childhood Education and Care. Methods To this end, an online survey was conducted on childcare teachers working at daycare centers in Seoul and Gyeonggi Province, and 256 copies of sincerely answered data were selected for the survey to analyze the results of childcare teachers' perception of the need for Integration of Integration of Early Childhood Education and Care. Results First, the difference between the administrative agencies managing the two facilities was most recognized for the difference between kindergartens and daycare centers of childcare teachers. Second, regarding the maintenance of the distinction between kindergartens and daycare centers as they are, the awareness that parents should be able to select an appropriate institution according to the need for kindergartens and daycare centers was the highest. Third, regarding the effectiveness of the integration of kindergartens and daycare centers of childcare teachers, the highest effect was recognized that the integration of kindergartens and daycare centers could provide fair financial support to kindergartens and daycare centers. Fourth, it was found that childcare teachers generally had a positive perception of the necessity of integrating kindergartens and daycare centers. Conclusions The study found that childcare teachers' perception of the effectiveness of Integration of Early Childhood Education and Care the greatest impact on the perception of the necessity of Integration of Early Childhood Education and Care. The more positively they perceive the effectiveness of Integration of Early Childhood Education and Care, the higher they perceive the necessity of Integration of Early Childhood Education and Care, and the lower they perceive the necessity of maintaining a dual system of kindergarten and daycare institutions, the higher they perceive the need for Integration of Early Childhood Education and Care. It can be used as basic data related to Integration of Early Childhood Education and Care to guarantee the rights of infants and toddlers at the time of Integration of Early Childhood Education and Care and improve the quality of education and childcare services.
