영유아 관련 교육적 기록화에 관한 연구 동향 분석

국문 초록

목적 본 연구의 목적은 영유아 관련 교육적 기록화에 대한 연구 동향을 알아보고 앞으로 향후 연구 방향성을 제시하고자 하였다. 방법 이를 위하여 ‘유아 기록’, ‘영아 기록’, ‘교육 기록화’, ‘교육 기록작업’을 주제어로 RISS, KCI, DBpia, 스콜라, KISS, 학술교육원 검색엔진에서 2025년 1월 19일부터 1월 31일까지 논문을 수집하였다. 논문 제목, 초록, 전문 검토 단계를 통해 59편을 분석대상 논문으로 선정하였으며, 연구시기별, 연구대상별, 연구방법별, 연구 주제별 동향을 분석하였다. 결과 첫째, 연구 시기별 동향을 살펴보면, 1999년부터 2024년까지 지속해서 연구가 이루어졌으며, 특히 2020년 이후 최근 5년 동안 전체 논문의 3분의 2가 출판될 만큼 연구가 급증한 것으로 나타났다. 연구방법별 동향에서는 대부분 질적 연구방법이 사용되었으며, 문헌 연구는 모든 시기에 걸쳐 지속하였다. 연구대상별 동향에서는 유아와 관련된 연구가 가장 많았으며, 그중에서도 유아 교사를 대상으로 한 연구가 2시기부터 5시기까지 꾸준히 이루어졌다. 반면, 영아와 관련된 연구는 상대적으로 적었으며, 대부분 최근 5년에 집중된 것으로 나타났다. 연구방법별 동향에서도 최근 5년 동안 양적 연구와 혼합 연구가 포함되면서 연구방법이 다양화되는 경향을 보였다. 연구 주제별 동향에서는 기록화 수행 자체를 개선하는 연구가 가장 많이 이루어졌으며, 그다음으로 기록 다시 보기, 기록화 자체의 의미를 탐구하는 연구가 이어졌다. 기록화에 대한 인식 및 실태 분석, 기록화 연구 동향을 분석한 연구는 최근 5년에만 각 1편씩 이루어져 연구 주제의 다양성이 증가한 것으로 나타났다. 결론 영유아 교육적 기록화 연구는 지속해서 이루어졌으나, 2020년 이후 최근 5년 동안 연구의 수와 연구 내용 면에서 큰 변화가 있었다. 연구방법이 다양화되었고, 연구대상이 확대되었으며, 연구 주제가 세분화되고 확장되었다. 본 연구 결과를 바탕으로 영유아 관련 교육적 기록화에 대한 연구방법별, 대상별, 주제별 향후 연구 방향에 관한 논의가 이루어졌다.

영문 초록

Objectives This study aims to analyze research trends in pedagogical documentation related to young children and suggest future research directions. Methods Keywords such as “young children documentation,” “infants toddler documentation,” and “pedagogical documentation” were used to collect research papers from RISS, KCI, DBpia, Scholar, KISS, and earticle between January 19 and 31, 2025. After reviewing titles, abstracts, and full texts, 59 papers were selected for analysis. The selected studies were analyzed based on research period, subjects, methodology, and themes. Results The analysis revealed that studies on pedagogical documentation have been continuously conducted since 1999, with a significant increase in the last five years (2020-2024), during which two-thirds of the total papers were published. Most studies used qualitative methods, while literature reviews remained consistent across all periods. Research subjects focused primarily on young children, particularly early childhood teachers. Studies on infants and toddlers were relatively few but increased in the last five years. Recently, quantitative and mixed-method studies have emerged, contributing to methodological diversification. The most common research theme was improving documentation practices, followed by revisiting documentation and exploring its meaning. Studies on documentation perceptions and trends appeared only in the last five years, indicating a broadening of research topics. Conclusions Research on pedagogical documentation has expanded in methodology, subjects, and themes over the past five years. Based on these findings, this study discusses future directions for pedagogical documentation research.
