국내 디지털 시민성 관련 연구 동향 분석

국문 초록

목적 본 연구에서는 국내 디지털 시민성 관련 학술 활동의 추세를 분석하여 연구 동향을 파악하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 방법 2016년부터 2024년 11월까지 KCI 등재지 및 박사학위 논문 76편을 대상으로 디지털 시민성과 관련된 핵심 키워드를 검색한 후, 최종적으로 75편의 논문을 선정하여 내용 분석을 실시하였다. 결과 첫째, 출판연도별 분석결과 매년 디지털 시민성 관련 연구가 지속적으로 증가하고 있으며, 특히 2022년에 가장 많은 논문이 출판되었다. 둘째, 연구 분야별 분석결과 교육 분야에서 가장 많은 연구가 이루어졌으며, 사회과학, 인문학, 공학, 복합학, 예술체육 순으로 나타났다. 셋째, 연구 영역별 분석결과 실천 방안에 관한 연구가 개념 및 이론 연구보다 두 배 이상 많았다. 넷째, 연구 목적 및 주제별 분석결과 응용 연구가 가장 많았으며, 기초 연구와 평가 연구가 그 뒤를 이었다. 응용 연구와 평가 연구가 증가하는 추세를 보였다. 다섯째, 연구 방법별 분석결과 양적 연구가 가장 많았고, 문헌 및 이론연구, 질적 연구, 혼합 연구 순으로 나타났다. 여섯째, 연구 대상별 분석결과 주로 학령기 학생을 대상으로 연구가 이루어졌으며, 유아와 장애인을 대상으로 한 연구는 부족하였다. 결론 국내에서 발표된 디지털 시민성 연구의 동향을 분석하여 관련 연구를 위한 기초 자료를 제공하고, 향후 연구 방향에 대한 시사점을 제시하였다. 향후 연구에서는 다양한 집단을 대상으로 한 연구와 복합적 접근 방식을 통한 연구가 필요하다. 이러한 접근은 디지털 시민성의 복잡한 양상을 보다 깊이 이해하고, 실질적인 정책 제안 및 교육 프로그램 개발에 기여할 수 있을 것이다.

영문 초록

Objectives The purposes of this study were to analyze previous domestic studies related to digital citizenship and to grasp implications for future digital citizenship research based on the results. Methods From 2016 to November 2024, 76 KCI-listed papers and doctoral dissertations were searched for key keywords related to digital citizenship, and 75 papers were finally selected to analyze the contents. Results First, as a result of analysis by publication year, research related to digital citizenship is continuously increasing every year, and the most papers were published especially in 2022. Second, as a result of analysis by research field, the most research was conducted in the field of education, followed by social science, humanities, engineering, complex studies, and arts and sports. Third, as a result of analysis by research area, studies on the practical plan were more than twice as many as those on concept and theory. Fourth, as a result of analysis by research purpose and subject, applied research was the most, followed by basic research and evaluation research. Applied research and evaluation research showed an increasing trend. Fifth, as a result of analysis by research method, quantitative research was the most, followed by literature and theoretical research, qualitative research, and mixed research. Sixth, as a result of analysis by research subject, research was mainly conducted on school-age students, and research on infants and the disabled was insufficient. Conclusions By analyzing trends in digital citizenship research published in Korea, basic data for related research were provided, and implications for future research directions were presented. Future research requires research on various groups and research through a complex approach. Through this approach, we will be able to better understand the complex aspects of digital citizenship and contribute to the development of practical policy proposals and educational programs.
