상호문화적 관점의 한국어 문화교육과정 개발을 위한 기초연구: 이주배경 중등학습자의 요구조사를 중심으로

국문 초록

목적 본 연구는 현재 중등교육 기관에 재학 중인 이주배경 한국어 학습자 60명을 대상으로 요구조사 및 심층면접을 실시하여 학교 내에서 이루어지는 문화교육 관련 실태와 상호문화교육에 대한 인식 및 요구 사항을 살펴봄으로써 상호문화적 접근의 한국어 문화교육과정 개발을 위한 기초 토대를 마련하는 데 그 목적이 있다. 방법 이를 위하여 이주배경 중등학습자 60명을 대상으로 설문조사 방법을 활용하여 요구조사를 실시하였다. 설문조사는 연구 참여자에 대한 기초 조사를 비롯하여 학습자들의 문화교육에 대한 요구, 교육 내용에 대한 요구, 상호문화교육에 대한 인식 및 선호도 등 총 4개 영역으로 구성하여 실시하였다. 설문조사를 통해 수집된 자료는 기초 통계 분석을 통해 응답자의 특성을 확인하였으며, 빈도분석을 통해 학습자들의 문화교육 경험과 요구, 상호문화교육 경험과 요구를 도출하였다. 결과 연구 결과, 현재 중등교육에서 이루어지는 문화교육 내용은 학습자들이 선호하는 문화교육 내용과는 거리가 있었고, 학습자들은 특히 문화교육에서 체험 위주의 활동을 원하고 있음을 알 수 있었다. 또한 문화교육 학습 시, 상호문화교육 도입의 필요성도 강하게 느끼고 있었다. 결론 요구조사 결과를 통해 상호문화교육을 도입한 한국어 교육과정 개발을 위한 시사점을 도출하고 방향성을 제시하였다.

영문 초록

Objectives The purpose of this study is to lay the foundation for the development of a Korean cultural curriculum with a intercultural approach by examining cultural education-related conditions and intercultural education requirements by conducting a demand survey and in-depth interview with 60 Korean language learners from migrant backgrounds currently enrolled in secondary education institutions. Methods A demand survey was conducted on 60 secondary school learners from migrant backgrounds. The demand survey was conducted by composed of four areas: basic survey of participants, demand for cultural education, demand for educational content, perception and preference for intercultural education. Results As a result of the study, it was found that there was a difference between the preferred educational content of learners and the current curriculum, and that they wanted experience-oriented activities in cultural education. In addition, learners strongly felt the need to introduce intercultural education when learning cultural education. Conclusions Through the results of the demand survey, implications for the development of the Korean language curriculum introducing mutual cultural education were derived and directions were presented.
