국문 초록

본 연구는 어머니가 인식한 사회적지지, 역기능적 부부관계, 자아인식 및 양육행동과 만 3세아의 또래관계 간의 구조적인 관계를 분석하는데 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 육아정책연구소의 한국아동패널조사 4차년도(2011)년 패널 데이터의 만 3세아 자녀를 둔 2,150명을 대상으로 구조관계를 분석하였다. 연구결과를 제시하면, 첫째, 유아의 또래관계는 어머니가 인식한 사회적 지지와 자아인식, 양육행동과는 정적 상관관계가 나타난 반면, 역기능적 부부관계와는 부적 상관관계가 나타났다. 둘째, 어머니의 양육행동은 유아의 또래관계에 직접적인 영향을 주는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 매개효과를 살펴보면, 사회적 지지가 역기능적 부부관계를 매개로 자아인식에 미치는 영향, 사회적 지지와 역기능적 부부관계가 자아인식을 매개로 양육행동에 미치는 영향, 사회적지지, 역기능적 부부관계와 자아인식이 양육행동을 매개로 또래관계에 미치는 영향은 통계적으로 유의한 것으로 나타났다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to examine structural relationships among perceived maternal social support, dysfunctional marital relationships, self-perception, parenting behavior of mothers and 3-year-old children's peer relations, and its mediating effects on 3-year-old children's peer relations. The data of 4th Panel Study on Korean Children(PSKC) that consist of 2,150 mothers with 3-year-old children were analyzed. First, the peer relations of 3-year-olds had positive correlations with maternal social support, self-perception, and parenting behavior; however, the peer relations of 3-year-olds had negative correlations with dysfunctional marital relationships. Second, the parenting behavior had direct effects on peer relations of 3-year-olds. Third, dysfunctional marital relationships significantly mediated the relationships between social support and self-perception of mothers. The mothers' self-perception significantly mediated the relationships between the perceived maternal social support and dysfunctional marital relationships and parenting behavior. Also, the parenting behavior significantly mediated the relationships between the perceived maternal social support, dysfunctional marital relationships, and self-concept and peer relations of 3 year-olds.
