국문 초록

본 연구는 디지털 시대에 교회가 직면한 리더십 및 행정적 전환의 과제를 해결하기 위해, 웨슬리 교회론과 S.M.A.R.T. 모델의 창의적 통합을 시도하였다. 웨슬리 교회론의 성화, 사회적 성결, 은혜의 수단, 속회구조, 평신도 사역 원리는 교회의 본질을 규정하는 신학적 기반이며, S.M.A.R.T. 모델은 구체적이고 측정 가능한 목표 설정을 통해 조직 운영의 전략성과 실행력을 강화하는 체계적 관리 도구이다. 이러한 이론적 토대 위에서 본 연구는 두 이론 체계의 유기적 결합을 통해 ‘영적 SMART 모델(Spiritual SMART)’을 제안하고, 이를 디지털시대 교회 사역에 적용 가능한 신학-전략 융합형 운영 패러다임으로 발전시켰다. 이 통합 모델은 교회가 영성과 공동체성이라는 본질적 가치를 유지하면서도, 효율성과 전략성이라는 실행적 가치를 균형 있게 확보할 수 있는 실천적 도구로서 기능한다. 특히 본 연구는 하이브리드 영성 훈련 시스템, 평신도 참여 기반 리더십 매핑, 데이터 기반 선교 실천 등 구체적인 실행 전략을 체계적으로 제시함으로써, Spiritual SMART의 현장 교회 적용 가능성과 지속가능한 성장 잠재력을 갖춘 패러다임임을 제안하고자 했다. 이는 단순한 이론 구축을 넘어, 신학적 전통과 디지털 문화가 조화를 이루는 통합적 교회 리더십 모델의 가능성을 탐구한다는 점에서 실천신학과 조직이론 양 영역에 의미 있는 학문적 기여를 제공할 것으로 기대된다.

영문 초록

This study attempted the creative integration of Wesleyan ecclesiology and the S.M.A.R.T. model in order to address the leadership and administrative transformation challenges faced by the church in the digital age. The principles of Wesleyan ecclesiology—sanctification, social holiness, means of grace, class meeting structure, and lay ministry—serve as the theological foundation that defines the essence of the church, and the S.M.A.R.T. model is a systematic management tool that enhances the strategic nature and execution ability of organizational operation through the establishment of specific and measurable goals. Based on this theoretical foundation, this study proposed the Spiritual S.M.A.R.T. model by organically combining the two theoretical systems, and developed it into an operational paradigm that integrates theology and strategy and is applicable to church ministry in the digital age. This integrated model functions as a practical tool that enables the church to maintain the essential values of spirituality and community, while also securing the practical values of efficiency and strategic nature in a balanced manner. In particular, this study systematically presented specific implementation strategies such as a hybrid spiritual training system, leadership mapping based on lay participation, and data-centered missional practice, thereby aiming to propose that the Spiritual S.M.A.R.T. model is a paradigm with practical applicability to churches in the field and the potential for sustainable growth. This not only explores the possibility of constructing a theoretical model but is also expected to provide meaningful academic contributions to both practical theology and organizational theory by pioneering an integrated church leadership model in which theological tradition and digital culture are harmoniously combined.
