국문 초록

본 연구는 PBL에 기반한 협력학습이 대학생들의 창의성, 인성, 리더십에 미치는 영향을 분석하고, 이 관계에서 학습자 참여도의 매개효과를 실증적으로 검토하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 2025학년도 1학기 강원도 소재 대학의 교양 교과목 ‘창의는 흐른다’ 수업에 참여한 51명을 대상으로 설문 조사를 실시하였으며, 수업은 문제기반학습(PBL)을 기반으로 한 협력학습 활동으로 구성되었다. 연구 도구로는 협력학습, 참여도, 창의성, 인성, 리더십을 측정하기 위한 5점 Likert 척도의 설문 문항이 사용되었다. 수집된 자료는 SPSS 26.0과 AMOS 24.0을 활용하여 기술통계, 상관분석, 구조방정식 모형(SEM)을 통해 분석하였다. 분석 결과, 협력학습은 참여도에 유의한 정적 영향을 미쳤으며 참여도는 창의성, 인성, 리더십에 각각 유의미한 정적 영향을 미쳤다. 구조방정식 분석을 통해 학습자 참여도가 협력학습과 핵심역량 간의 관계에서 매개효과를 가지는 것으로 확인되었다. 본 연구는 협력학습이 대학 교양교육에서 전인적 역량 함양을 위한 효과적인 전략이 될 수 있음을 시사하며 참여도를 고려한 교수 설계의 필요성을 강조한다.

영문 초록

This study aimed to investigate the effects of cooperative learning based on PBL on university students’ creativity, character and leadership, and to examine the mediating role of student engagement in these relationships. The participants were 51 students enrolled in the liberal arts course Creativity Flows, offered in the first semester of 2025 at a university in Gangwon Province. The course was structured around problem-based learning and cooperative learning activities. Survey instruments were developed to assess cooperative learning, engagement, creativity, character, and leadership to show that each instrument used the scale. Data were analyzed using SPSS 26.0 and AMOS 24.0, including descriptive statistics, correlation analysis, and structural equation modeling (SEM). The findings revealed that cooperative learning significantly influenced student engagement, subsequently had a significant positive effect on creativity, character, and leadership. Furthermore, the SEM results confirmed the mediating effect of engagement in the relationship between cooperative learning and core competencies. This study highlights the potential of cooperative learning as an effective pedagogical strategy in liberal arts education to foster holistic development, and emphasizes the importance of incorporating student engagement into instructional design.
