소방대원의 근골격계 질환 위험성 평가 : 요구조자 구출법을 중심으로

국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 소방대원의 요구조자 구출법 8종목(안아 올려 운반구출, 전진 포복 구출, 메어서 운반 구출, 양쪽 겨드랑이를 잡아당겨 구출, 1인 확보 운반 구출, 뒤로 옷깃을 끌어당겨 구출, 소방식 운반구출, 등에 업고 포복 구출)을 인간공학적 평가도구인 REBA로 분석하여 근골격계 질환 위험성을 평가하는 데 있다. 연구 결과, 요구조자 구출법은 종목에 상관없이 작업 자세 개선이 필요한 것으로 나타났다. 이에 2인 1조 구출법이 정착될 수 있도록 인력 증원 및 구출법이 개발되어야 할 것이다. 만약, 현실적으로 1인 구출법을 사용할 수밖에 없는 환경이라면 ‘양쪽 겨드랑이 잡아당겨 구출’하는 방법을 우선적으로 적용하여 근골격계 질환 발생 가능성을 조금이라도 낮추도록 노력해야 할 것이다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to assess the risk of musculoskeletal disorders (MSDs) associated with eight distinct victim rescue tactics (Hug and carry rescue, Forward crouching rescue, One-person secure carry rescue, Carry rescue, Pulling on both armpits rescue, Pulling back collar rescue, Firefighters carry rescue, Backward carry rescue) employed by firefighters, utilizing the Rapid Entire Body Assessment (REBA) as an ergonomic evaluation tool. The analysis revealed that all eight rescue tactics, irrespective of the specific technique, scored at a level indicating a significant risk of MSDs, necessitating immediate postural correction and intervention. These high-risk scores underscore an urgent need for systemic improvements to mitigate the physical burden on firefighters. Consequently, this study recommends an increase in personnel to establish two-person teams as the standard for victim rescue operations and highlights the critical need for the research and development of new rescue tactics designed for two or more responders. However, in unavoidable circumstances that mandate a solo rescue, 'Pulling on both armpits rescue' was identified as a relatively safer option and should be prioritized in such scenarios to minimize the immediate risk of MSDs.
