국어교육과 한국어교육에서 학문 문식성에 대한 체계적 문헌 고찰 - 문법교육을 중심으로

국문 초록

목적: 국어교육과 한국어교육 영역에서 문법교육이 학문 문식성 함양과 어떤 관련성을 갖고 정의되고 실천되고 있는지 비교·분석한다. 방법: 체계적 문헌 고찰 방법을 적용하여 총 178편의 관련 연구를 분석하였으며, 문법교육 내에서 학문 문식성의 개념 정의, 목표 능력, 교수 전략, 교육 환경 등을 중심으로 국어교육과 한국어교육 두 영역의 접근 방식을 비교하였다. 결과: 국어교육과 한국어교육은 모두 문법을 학문 문식성 형성의 핵심 자원으로 설정하고 있으나, 문법 요소의 유형, 교수 전략, 이론적 기반, 교수 환경에서 상이한 실천 양상을 보이며, 학습자 특성 및 교수 조건의 구조적 차이가 이 같은 차이를 형성하는 요인으로 나타났다. 결론: 학문 문식성이라는 공통의 교육 목표를 고려할 때, 두 영역 간 문법교육의 단절적 접근을 지양하고, 통합적 관점과 상호 보완 전략을 통해 문법교육의 정합성과 실천 효과를 강화할 필요가 있다.

영문 초록

Purpose: This study investigates how grammar education contributes to the development of disciplinary literacy in Korean language education and Korean as a foreign/second language (KF/SL) education. Methods: A systematic review was conducted on 178 studies, focusing on how grammar education relates to disciplinary literacy. The analysis compared conceptual definitions, instructional goals, pedagogical strategies, and educational contexts in both fields. Results: Both Korean language education and KFL education view grammar as a key resource for fostering disciplinary literacy. However, Korean language education tends to emphasize grammar as a tool for enhancing higher-order thinking and conceptual development, whereas KFL education approaches grammar as a functional resource for accurate and coherent academic performance. These differences stem from structural contrasts in learner backgrounds and instructional environments. Conclusion: Given their shared aim of developing disciplinary literacy, both fields would benefit from moving beyond fragmented approaches to grammar education. Integrated pedagogical models and reciprocal application of strategies are needed to enhance coherence and practical effectiveness across diverse learner contexts.
