국문 초록

목적: 본 연구는 전국연합학력평가 국어 영역 독서 문항에 수록된 법률 분야 텍스트가 원본 텍스트에서 독서 평가용 텍스트로 변형되는 양상을 규명하는데 목적이 있다. 방법: 이를 위해 2024학년도 3월 전국연합학력평가에 수록된 유언과 상속 관련 독서 텍스트를 보그란데와 드레슬러의 텍스트성 이론을 바탕으로 하여 원본 텍스트와 평가용 텍스트를 문장 단위로 비교·분석하였다. 결과: 분석 결과, 독서 평가용 텍스트는 통일성, 응집성, 정보성, 상호텍스트성 측면에서 원본 텍스트의 구조 변경, 정보의 추가, 결합 및 삭제, 동일하거나 유사한 단어 및 어구의 반복, 유사한 내용 생략, 지시·대용·접속 표현 사용, 원본 텍스트 이외의 텍스트 활용 등을 통해 평가 목적에 부합하는 방식으로 변형되었음이 확인되었다. 결론: 본 연구는 독서 평가용 텍스트의 구성 양상을 실증적으로 제시하였다는 점에서 의의가 있으며, 향후 법률 분야를 비롯하여 다양한 분야의 독서 평가용 텍스트 분석으로 일반화된 지침을 마련하는 연구가 필요하다.

영문 초록

Purpose: The purpose of this study is to identify the actual aspects of how reading assessment texts are composed by analyzing how legal texts included in the Korean language reading section of the National United Achievement Assessment have been transformed from their original versions. Methods: In order to accomplish this research purpose, the study focuses on a reading text related to wills and inheritance included in the March 2024 National United Achievement Assessment. Based on the text linguistics theory proposed by Beaugrande and Dressler, the original text and the assessment text were compared and analyzed sentence by sentence. Results: The analysis revealed that the assessment text was modified to suit the purpose of evaluation by altering the structure of the original text, adding, combining, or deleting information, repeating identical or similar words and phrases, omitting similar content, using cohesive devices such as reference, substitution, and conjunctions, and incorporating texts other than the original. Conclusion: This study is significant in that it empirically presents the principles behind the composition of assessment texts. It also suggests the need to develop generalized guidelines through future analyses of assessment texts across various fields.
