장애인 대상 인공지능 활용 국내 연구에 대한 체계적 문헌 고찰 : 2001년~2025년

국문 초록

본 연구는 장애인을 대상으로 한 국내 인공지능(AI) 활용 연구의 동향을 파악하고, 향후 연구 방향을 제시하기 위해 체계적 문헌고찰을 실시하였다. 학술연구정보서비스(RISS)를 활용하여 2001년부터 2025년까지 학위논문과 학술지를 대상으로 ‘장애’와 AI 관련 주요 키워드를 검색하고, 선정 기준에 따라 최종 99편을 분석하였다. 분석 결과, AI 기술은 주로 보조기술·알고리즘·서비스 개발(56.6%)과 중재 프로그램 개발(20.2%)에 활용되고 있었으며, 연구 방법으로는 개발연구(71.7%)가 가장 많았다. 연구 대상은 자폐성장애, 시각장애, 인지장애 순으로 많았고, 실험연구 16편에 대한 심층 분석 결과, 독립변인은 인공지능 기반 교육 프로그램, 수업 활용, 중재 전략, 교수 전략 등이었으며, 종속변인은 언어 및 의사소통 능력, 사회·정서 및 학업 태도 등과 관련되는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구는 국내 장애인 대상 AI 연구의 현황을 고찰하고 향후 장애인의 삶이나 재활에 도움을 줄 수 있는 도구 및 프로그램 개발에 기초 자료를 제안하고자 한다.

영문 초록

This study presents a systematic literature review of domestic research on the application of artificial intelligence (AI) for individuals with disabilities in South Korea. A total of 6,693 papers were retrieved from the Research Information Sharing Service (RISS) using keywords related to “disability” and AI, and 99 studies were selected based on predefined criteria. The analysis showed that 56.6% of the studies focused on developing assistive technologies, algorithms, and services, while 20.2% addressed intervention programs. Development research accounted for 71.7% of methodologies, and the most frequently studied disabilities were autism spectrum disorder, visual impairment, and cognitive disabilities. Among 16 experimental studies, AI-based educational programs, instructional applications, and intervention or teaching strategies were used as independent variables. Dependent variables primarily involved language and communication abilities, as well as social, emotional, and academic outcomes. These findings suggest the growing relevance of AI in special education and highlight the need for further empirical and user-centered research.
