국문 초록

본 연구는 영화 <블랙 스완>에 표출된 주체와 욕망의 불가능성 문제를 라캉의 욕망이론을 통해 분석해 봄으로써, 영상 분석의 새로운 해독 방법과 의미를 찾고자 시도한다. 작품에 나타난 주인공 니나의 욕망의 동인은 무엇이며, 그 욕망의 충족은 어떻게 추구되는지, 라캉이 상정한 상상계·상징계·실재계와 연관하여 살펴봄으로써 영상에 재현된 주체와 인간 욕망의 실체는 무엇인지를 고찰한다. 구체적으로는 니나의 욕망 추구를 라캉의 ‘오브제 a’ 개념을 통해 분석하면서, 그녀가 이루고자 했던 욕망의 본질적 의미가 무엇인지 탐구한다. 이와 같은 문제의식을 바탕으로, 가변적이고 해소될 수 없는 인간 욕망의 한계와 불가능성에 대한 라캉의 정신분석학적 논의를 영화적 상상력으로 구현한 영상언어와 미장센 분석을 통해 규명한다. 이러한 연구는 정신분석학과 영상이론의 접목을 통한 상호텍스트적인 해석으로, 주체와 인간 욕망의 본질을 이해하고 확장하는 또 하나의 출발점이 될 것으로 기대된다.

영문 초록

This study attempts to find a new method of interpretation and meaning of image analysis by analyzing the problem of the impossibility of the subject and desire expressed in the film through the theory of desire, which is the core of Lacan’s philosophy. It examines what drives the desire of the main character Nina in the film, how the satisfaction of that desire is pursued, and what the substance of the subject and human desire represented in the film is by examining it in relation to the Imaginary, the Symbolic, and the Real assumed by Lacan. Specifically, it analyzes Nina’s pursuit of desire through Lacan’s concept of ‘objet a’ and explores the essential meaning of the desire she tried to achieve. Based on this critical mind, it examines Lacan’s psychoanalytic discussion on the limits and impossibility of variable and irresolvable human desire through the analysis of visual language and mise-en-scène implemented with cinematic imagination. This study is expected to be another starting point for understanding the essence of the subject and human desire through an inter-textual interpretation through the integrability of psychoanalysis and image theory.
