유아의 메타인지와 행복감과의 관계에서 유아 사회적 능력의 매개효과

국문 초록

본 연구는 메타인지가 유아의 행복감에 어떠한 영향을 미치며, 이 두 변수 간의 관계에서 사회적 능력 요인에 대한 매개 효과를 밝히고자 하였다. 본 연구는 G 광역시 8개 유아교육기관에 재원중인 만 5세 유아 320명을 대상으로 담임교사에게 교사 평정용 검사 도구를 배부한 후 자료를 수집하였다. 수집된 자료 중 최종적으로 276부(86.3%)의 자료에 대해 유아의 메타인지, 행복감, 사회적 능력 간 상관관계를 탐색하고 구조방정식을 이용하여 부분매개모형과 완전매개모형을 분석하였다. 본 연구 결과 유아의 메타인지와 행복감의 관계에서 유아의 사회적 능력은 완전 매개 역할을 하는 것으로 나타났다. 즉, 유아의 메타인지는 행복감에 직접적인 영향력을 나타내기 보다는 유아의 사회적 능력을 통해 행복감에 영향을 미치는 것으로 밝혀졌다. 이와 같은 본 연구 결과는 유아의 메타인지, 행복감, 사회적 능력의 관계를 보다 종합적으로 분석한 자료로서 유아의 행복감 증진을 위해 다양한 변인을 고려한 교육 방안 모색의 기초 자료로 활용될 수 있다는 점에서 연구의 의의가 있다.

영문 초록

This study aims to show how metacognition affects satisfaction in young children, and to reveal the parameter effects of child leadership between these two variables. This study collected data from 320 5-year-old children in Gwangju City by distributing teacher-evaluation tools to their homeroom teachers. The study explored the correlation between child metacognition, satisfaction, and social ability and analyzed partial and complete parameter models using the structural equation for 276 datasets, 86.3% of the collected data. This study found that in the relationship between metacognition and satisfaction in kindergarten children, the social ability of children plays a full role as a medium. In other words, it turns out that the metacognition of a child affects satisfaction through their social ability rather than directly influencing satisfaction. These findings are meaningful in that diverse variables for enhancing the satisfaction of young children can be used as the basis for exploring educational methods considered as a more comprehensive analysis of the relationship between child metacognition, satisfaction, and social ability.
