부모의 과잉통제가 자녀의 의사결정유형에 미치는 영향

국문 초록

본 연구는 부모의 과잉통제와 자녀의 의사결정유형과의 관계에서 자아분화의 매개효과를 검증하고자 하였다. 이 연구를 위해 서울, 경기 소재 대학생 319명으로 대상으로 2018년 9월부터 2019년 9월 10일까지 부모의 과잉통제척도와 자아분화척도, 의사결정유형척도 설문을 실시하였다. 참여자의 성별 분포는 남학생 158명(49.5%), 여학생 161명(50.5%)이며, 평균 연령은 22.44세(SD=1.65)이었다. SPSS 21.0을 사용하여 상관분석을, AMOS 21.0을 사용하여 구조방정식 모형을 검증하였다. 확인적 요인분석을 통하여 측정모형의 타당도를 검증하고, 연구모형과 경쟁모형을 설정한 후 이들을 비교하기 위하여 카이제곱 차이검증을 실시하였다. 연구결과 요약은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 주요 변인들의 상관분석 결과 부모의 과잉통제, 자아분화, 의사결정유형 모두 유의한 상관을 나타냈다. 둘째, 구조방정식 분석결과 부모의 과잉통제와 자녀의 의사결정유형과의 관계에서 자아분화가 완전매개 효과를 나타냈다. 의사결정 유형별로 살펴보았을 때, 부모의 과잉통제는 자아분화를 매개로 합리적 의사결정, 직관적 의사결정, 의존적 의사결정에 모두 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 이 결과 부모의 과잉통제는 자녀의 의사결정유형에 직접적 영향을 미친다는 것이 확인되었다. 본 연구에 대한 의의와 함께 한계점 및 후속연구에 대한 제언을 논의하였다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to examine the mediating effect of self-differentiation in the relationship between patental overcontrol and child s decision making styles. For this study, 158 college male students (49.5%) and 161 female students (50.5%) were selected from 319 university students in Seoul and Gyeonggi-do and the mean age was 22.44(SD=1.65). The correlation analysis was performed using SPSS 21.0, AMOS 21.0 was used to verify the structual equation model. The validity of the measurement model was verified throuh confirmatory factor analysis, and the Chi-square test was conducted to compare the research model and the competition model. The summary of the study is as follows. First, in the result of the correlation analysis of major variables revealed significant correlation between parental overcontrol, self-differntiation, and decision-making types. Second, the result of the structural equation analysis, self- differentiation showed full mediation effect in relation with parental overcontrol and child s decision type. Self-differentiation has a positive correlation with rational decision-making type, and higher self-differentiation makes rational decision making. On the other hand, intuitive decision types were not relevant and were not relevant to dependent decision types, and the higher the self-differentiation, the less intuitive decision making and dependent decision making were shown. As a result, it was confirmed that parental overcontrol had a direct effect on the type of decision making of children. This study discussed significance and limitations of this study, as well as proposals for future research.
