2015 수학과 교육과정 개정 전후 교과서 과제의 인지적 노력 수준의 변화

국문 초록

본 연구는 2015 수학과 교육과정 개정 전후의 수학 교과서 과제를 비교해 봄으로써, 중학교 1학년 함수 영역의 과제가 학생들에게 제공하는 문제해결 관련 학습기회의 변화 양상을 살펴보는 데 초점을 두었다. 특히, 교육과정 개정에 따라 변화된 내용 요소를 중심으로 과제의 인지적 노력 수준의 분포와 수준별 과제의 특징을 살펴봄으로써 내용 변화에 따른 과제 수준의 변화를 확인하고자 하였다. 연구결과, 2015 개정 교육과정에 따른 교과서에서 다음과 같은 특징과 시사점을 확인할 수 있었다. 첫째, 과제의 인지적 노력 수준의 분포와 관련하여, 낮은 수준 과제의 비중이 증가하고 높은 수준 과제의 비중이 감소하였다. 둘째, PNC 과제와 DM 과제의 비중이 증가하고 M 과제와 PWC 과제의 비중이 감소하였다. 셋째, 교과서 별로 차이는 있었지만, 함수 개념의 삭제는 PWC 과제의 비중이 감소에, 그래프 해석의 도입은 DM 과제의 비중 증가에, 정비례와 반비례의 도입은 PNC 과제의 비중 증가에 기여하였다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to confirm changes in the levels of cognitive demand in textbook tasks according to the change of learning contents, by comparing the mathematics textbook tasks before and after the revision of the 2015 mathematics curriculum. The conclusion is as follows. First, with regard to the distribution of levels of cognitive demand of tasks, the ratio of low-level tasks increased and the ratio of high-level tasks decreased. Second, the ratio of PNC tasks and DM tasks increased and the ratio of M tasks and PWC tasks decreased. Third, although there were differences between the textbooks, the deletion of the function concept reduced the ratio of the PWC task, the introduction of graph interpretation contributed to the increase in the ratio of the DM task, and the introduction of the direct and inverse proportion contributed to the increase in the ratio of the PNC task.
