고등학교 기술･가정 교과서에 반영된 지속가능발전교육 관련 내용 및 탐구 성향 분석

국문 초록

본 연구는 가정교과와 지속가능발전교육(ESD)의 관련성을 살펴보고 학생들의 탐구력 향상을 실현할 수 있도록 고등학교 기술･가정 교과서 8종의 ‘자원 관리와 자립’ 영역의 ‘지속 가능한 소비’ 단원의 지속가능발전교육 내용 영역의 관점 및 탐구 성향을 분석하였다. 학교현장에서 기술･가정 교사들의 교과서 내용 선정 및 구성의 기초자료로 제공하며, 지속가능발전교육을 기술･가정 교과를 통해 실현하는 데 목적이 있다. 분석방법은 내용분석법, Romey의 교과서 분석 방법을 활용하였다. 그 결과 첫째, 지속가능발전교육 관련 내용은 ‘지속 가능한 소비’ 단원에 제시되고 있었으며, 전체 분량에서 차지하는 비율은 전반적으로 낮았다. 둘째, 지속가능발전교육 내용 중 사회적 지속가능성이 가장 낮게 나타났으며, 경제적 지속가능성, 사회적 지속가능성, 환경적 지속가능성의 균형 있는 제시가 필요하다. 셋째, Romey 분석 요소에서 탐구적 성향을 고르게 갖춘 교과서는 없었으며, 교과서별로 탐구적 성향이 높은 분석요소는 교과서의 활동에 대한 학생의 활동의 수였다.

영문 초록

This study looked at the relevance of home curricula and education for sustainable development(ESD) and analyzed the perspectives and inquiring tendencies of the content of education for sustainable development in the ‘sustainable consumption’ units of eight high school Technology·Home Economics textbooks to realize the improvement of students ability to explore. The purpose of providing Technology·Home Economics teachers with base data for selecting and organizing textbooks at school is to realize education for sustainable development through Technology·Home Economics education. The analysis method used the content analysis method and the analysis method of the textbook by Romey. As a result, first, content related to education for sustainable development was being presented in the ‘sustainable consumption’ units, and the percentage of the total amount was generally low. Second, social sustainability was the lowest in the content of education for sustainable development, and a balanced presentation of economic sustainability, social sustainability and environmental sustainability is needed. Third, there were no textbooks that had an evenly inquiring tendencies in the Romey analysis element, and the analysis elements that had a high inquiring tendencies in each textbook were the number of students activities.
