전래동화를 활용한 한국어 통합수업 사례

국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 전래동화를 활용한 한국어 통합수업에 있어서 4개 영역의 향상 정도를 실제 수업을 통해 검증하고자 하는 데 목적이 있다. 본 연구에서는 학습자 대상을 여성 결혼이민자로 국한하여 학습자들이 정규과정에서 어려워했던 4개 영역 수업을 전래동화라는 학습 자료를 이용하여 부담감을 덜어 주고 학습자 스스로 주도적으로 참여함으로써 학습 효과를 높이고자 하였다. 수업은 인천 소재 다문화센터에서 한국어 교육을 받고 있는 여성 결혼이민자 중·고급 학습자 10명을 대상으로 9주간 진행되었다. 1회 수업에 1권의 전래동화를 가지고 진행하였으며 수업 차시는 주 1회 4교시로 이루어졌다. 본 연구의 진행 절차는 크게 3단계로 나누었으며 1단계에서는 선행연구를 검토한 후에 전래동화를 선정하고 개작하였다. 2단계에서는 개작한 전래동화를 차시별로 배열한 후 보조자료를 제작하고 차시별, 교수학습 지도안을 작성하였다. 3단계에서는 결과를 도출해 내기 위한 방법으로 수업 중 진행된 교사의 학습자 변화 과정 관찰과 수업 후 진행된 설문 조사와 인터뷰를 실시하였다. 본 연구를 통해 전래동화는 한국어 통합수업에서 학습자들이 어려워하고 부담감을 가졌던 4개 영역 수업에 학습자들이 흥미를 가지고 적극적으로 참여하게 함으로써 영역별로 골고루 향상시켜 주었음을 알 수 있었다. 이미 전래동화를 활용한 한국어 수업에 대한 선행 연구가 많이 있고 지금도 지속되고 있지만 실제 통합수업을 통해 4개 영역에서의 효과를 이끌어 냈다는 데 본 연구의 의의가 있다고 하겠다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to verify the degree of improvement in four areas in Korean language integration classes using traditional fairy tales through actual classes. In this study, the purpose of the study was to limit learners to female marriage immigrants, thereby reducing the burden by using the learning materials called traditional fairy tales and increasing the learning effect by taking the initiative of the learners themselves. The class was held for nine weeks for 10 middle and high-level female marriage immigrants who are receiving Korean language education at the Incheon-based multicultural center. One class was conducted with one children s story, and the class was held once a week with four children s. The procedure for this research was divided into three major stages, and the first stage was reviewed and then selected and adapted a traditional fairy tale. In the phase, the revised folktales were arranged on a time-by-time basis, then auxiliary data were produced, and teaching guidelines were written on a time-by-time basis. The third stage was to observe the changes of the learners and conduct a survey and interview conducted after the class as a way to produce the results. The study showed that traditional fairytales have improved evenly in each area by allowing learners to actively participate in four areas of classes, which were difficult and burdensome for learners in Korean language integration classes. Although there have already been a lot of prior studies on Korean language classes using traditional fairy tales and they have continued, it is meaningful that the actual integrated classes brought about the effects in four areas.
